        If you’re happy to climb 200+ stairs to your room each time you want to return then you will love this hotel. The view from this room is one of the best views I’ve ever experienced from a hotel. The staff are very friendly and do offer to carry your bags both up and down. I will stress though, if you’re not fit it will be a challenge to the top. Hotel is in great location once down all the steps and the island itself is beautiful.

        DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! We arrived to find out the hotel had already booked out our room to other people. They’ve gave us a small room for the night with zero view. The rooms are old and not nice. There’s a terrible stench of sewage. There are bed bugs and mosquitoes!!!! Manager based in Bangkok so we can’t speak to them face to face!!! Total waist of a day coming here. Terrible.

        You cannot call this place a hotel. First of all, it is located up on the hill so you have to walk up many stairs in the burning sun. They have never heard of walls isolation and it gets up to 40 celsius degrees in the room. You cannot leave the AC running while you are away because the card is bound to the room key. Would not recommend, but because of limited accommodation on the island, during peak season these dirty venues get customers due to lack of options. Completely disappointed.

        Having to give it 1 star as zero stars isn’t an option. We were absolutely disgusted by how we were treated. My partner and I had booked back in September for a deluxe double room with sea view. Two hours before we were checking in, whilst on the ferry over to Phi Phi, I received a message from the “Manager” stating our air conditioning in the room was broken. To which I replied that it was okay and if we were able to give us a fan. They did not take that on board and told us they had a small room available instead. When we arrived we stated we didn’t want the small room and would take the room we booked regardless if the air-con was broken. This was a lie and in fact they had given our room to someone else who would pay more for it as supposedly we “didn’t pay enough as it was peak season”. We had no where else to stay so had to sleep in what I can only describe as a cupboard, holes in the wall covered with tape, the stench was unbearable and unavoidable - definite sewage leak. cockroaches and bugs, the curtain didn’t cover the window so passers by could look in (partner looking scary in the photo for reference) The first photo is what we booked, and the rest of the photos is the “room guests happily stay in” As a “sorry” they gave us a voucher for breakfast which I thought was a complete insult after they blatantly given our room to someone else as they said they were full and we didn’t pay enough for the room l (I have proof of booking and payment regardless of what season) We booked for a total for 3 nights, we checked in at 6:30pm on Tuesday and we have since checked out at 7am the following morning and have been relocated to another hotel in Ao Nang. Avoid at all costs, the resort is absolutely vile.

        So, we checked in yesterday for 3 nights in a room with 4 beds because we are with friends. The room is decent but looks very old. The air conditioner only works when you are inside the room. The temperature outside is nearly 40 degrees. One of our friends is sick, has flu so, we can not open the air conditioner over night. No problem, two of us went in the morning to speak at the reception to book another room for 2 persons for the other nights and agreed that we will come after our boat trip to take the room. We came back from our trip and we dont have another room because ‘we did not confirm’. But nobody told us to leave an amout of money or something. Bonus, the man that was at the reception was very rude and unprofessional.
