It's a good place to stay if you're just looking for a place to sleep. You get the bare minimum when it comes to toiletries. The room is pretty basic - mine had a fridge but no microwave. The coffee maker was missing a part and so it wasn't useable (this happened the last time I stayed here as well). The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It's in a good location - not too far from anything you want to do in San Diego (I'm all over the place when I visit). The neighborhood isn't great, but it's not bad. I don't know if they still offer breakfast - they did when I stayed previously. You can tell they deal with a lot of homeless and have done a good job of keeping the place clean. However, it's not as nice as it was years ago - but the same can probably be said about San Diego as a whole. Considering the prices of hotels in San Diego, I'd stay here again.

What an incredible surprise. I'm shocked this hotel is not better rated. There isn't a single flaw - quiet, comes with an ample free parking (at the back for big cars!), is conveniently located in a commercial zone (close to shops, restaurants, and breweries), has high speed Internet, and has the freeway close-by to go to San Diego. And top of the top - the best client service I've ever experienced in the US! I've never met such a welcoming and dedicated team (Jesus and all, you do a great job!). Will warmly recommend for both business and personal visits!

I reserve for a 2night stay; however, an emergency came up and I had to go home early morning and only stayed a night. Told the manager and she was very sympathetic of my situation and made arrangements so I was refunded for the 2nd night. Hotel is easy to locate. It was clean.

No microwaves, no breakfast, no pool, no laundry room... no problem. This has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The staff and service more than make up for the amenities the hotel lacks. The housekeepers are on top of their stuff. Jesus and everyone at the front desk are holding it down 24/7. The staff has a way of making you feel welcome and relaxed. Pleasant Inn, a fitting name for this hotel. Decent daily rates. Everything else you need is within walking distance or less than a half mile radius. Most definitely recommend!
