        This is an excellent base to explore Canary Wharf. It is ten minutes from the railway station. Lots of amenities on the doorstep. The room was freezing when we first entered but after putting on the heating & coming back after an hour or so the room had warmed up lovely. Compact room with drop down shelves. No wardrobe but there are hangers provided and plenty of hooks. Bed was very comfortable & a nice heavy quilt. The room temperature was kept steady all night & the unit was not noisy at all. Coffee provided at reception & was not expensive at all.

        Recently stayed at Point A Canary Wharf which has two buildings opposite each other. It is a boutique hotel a few minutes walk from Canary Wharf. As you would expect, it is ensuite with toilet and shower. I particularly liked this hotel because it reminded me of capsule hotels with the foldable tables/racks and it also felt like I was on a flight. There was mood lighting and a two in one heater/air conditioner that did its job. The shower was nice because the water came out really fine yet strong but the only thing I did not like was the toiletries mainly because the scent was not for me. There was a hairdryer, lockable safe but no kettle. The doors are all opened with smart cards like any other hotel but I liked the futuristic touch they had because the room number and room status is on the door lock. Staying at the windowless rooms might be better than the ones with windows if you prefer peace and quiet because you are shielded from the streets.

        Rooms are so tiny I don't recommend booking a room for more than one person to stay in or for more than one night, zero storage, the bed feels like sleeping on a bag of pebbles. All the lights and fan unit is difficult to navigate and the instructions are outdated. You can hear everything from the rooms next to you even when you're down the hall. The area is the most beautiful I have ever seen with so much to do and lots of gorgeous places to eat (I don't recommend the docklands diner). The only really good thing about the hotel is the location, canary wharf is somewhere I think anyone visiting London should check out Front desk service was good, they held onto our bags while we were walking around before we could check in, and you can check in early after 12pm for extra pounds

        I had a one night stay whilst attending an event at the Excel. The front desk team were helpful, location is convenient, the room was clean and minimal in style and compact but that's where the good things stop. There was zero sound proofing on my floor, so much so that I could hear toilets flushing, doors slamming and couples being busy at all hours at midnight and two am. I hope the couple had a good night because I didn't. Don't come here unless you have ear plugs.

        Great location for Canary Wharf. Rooms are very small and basic - this was expected, but the bed was quite uncomfortable as the pillows were extremely hard. Did not realise rooms don't have a kettle. You can buy hot drinks downstairs, but at that point you might as well go out to a coffee shop. Room was very clean and the Aircon was decent, but I wouldn't choose to stay again.
