        Lovely apartment, well maintained & functional. Air conditioning in the bedroom and dinner/lounge area. Parking available to the rear of the building which is very convenient. Great quiet location but easy to walk to most tourist spots within 20-25 minutes. Numerous restaurants dotted around within a few minutes walk. Marcia (manages the apartment block) is very communicative, friendly & helpful. Highly recommended!

        Fantastic place to stay in Porto. Clean, gracious hosts, kitchen unit is well equipped, several very good nearby restaurants including one Michelin certified. Easy walk to the old town. Loved this place.

        Don't book this hotel unless you are good at fixing air-condition, electricity and toilet. Those equipment had problem during our 3-night stay. The AC malfunction at the day we arrived. The reception lady promise 1 day refund because the AC won't be fixed during our stay. At 2nd day the circuit breaker tripped. The reception showed us how to fix the switchboard. At the last day morning we can't flush the toilet and decide to switch to other hotel. But the reception refused to refund us. This is the worse hotel in Porto. Don't take a risk to turn your vacation into plumber internship.

        We stayed at the Porto Downtown Lovers Suites Bombarda 451 from March12 to 16th 2023 and loved it. We had one of the small studio apartment which after spending a month in hotels was a very nice change and certainly large enough for us. We did not spend much time in the room as we wanted to explore the city as much as possible, but when there, we were able to cook, make coffee and relax. The room was clean and well equipped with anything we needed, the staff (Marcia) was friendly and helpful, and walking up the 3 flights of stairs was a good workout 😉 We definitely recommend staying there as it is really a nice walking distance to most points of interest. If we are lucky enough to return to Porto, we will be returning to the Porto Downtown Lovers Suites for sure! Nicole and Bob

        Great hotel. Very well appointed rooms, although a little small. We were on the top floor so the roof slants made the room feel smaller, otherwise would highly recommend. Secure parking available. Point of note, this hotel is not staffed 24/7. The front door is on a code that the hotel supplies before you arrive. So if you changed your phone number in Europe, make sure you get in touch with this hotel and let them know. When we arrived we weren't able to get into the hotel as we didn't have the code after a while and knocking a staff member opened the door. They advised us that they tried calling us rather than emailing us the door codes. Otherwise great experience and fairly close to the city centre

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
