The only pleasant thing about this hotel was its location. I stayed with my foreign guests for a few days, and our experience at this hotel was not pleasant at all. The breakfast was disappointing; nothing seemed fresh, from the bread to the cucumber. Due to a lack of guests, the hotel failed to renew the food, resulting in the use of old and stale foods for breakfast. Moreover, the sheets were itchy, and the room was dusty. Additionally, we were surprised with an extra fee when my sister stayed in the same room, a regulation they failed to inform us about beforehand. When asked for documentation, they presented a random, unsigned Word file. My guests, here on a business trip, faced unwarranted restrictions on their room, even for meetings. Unlike many hotels in Baku, this one charges extra if you bring someone into the room for over 10 minutes, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, not a recommendable experience at all!

Shabby place that once must have been well maintained. Stained sheets, stained sofas. Old dusty carpets and ripped wallpapers. Breakfast was okay, but found a hair nearly everyday in my food. Once they run out of water bottles for the room, they ask you to get your own - for which they don’t even let you take their cycle. Location is ideal, but that’s the only pro.

Pros: Great location. Good wifi. Courteous staff. Cons: Extremely average breakfast. Hospital style bedsheets that felt itchy and uncomfortable. Dingy dark carpets in a country known for carpets. Terribly dirty and itchy tablecloths that were infested with mites or whatever it was that gave us insect bites. No 24 hour restaurant room service. Expensive rate per night. Charged us for sheet that was already stained. 4-star according to state standards, NOT international standards. Room service left the window open. Cabbies keep asking for 2 AZN extra to pay for the toll gate coming into the old city area.
