        This hotel's customer service was terrible , and they do not help you in any way to retrieve property you leave behind, so make sure you don't leave a single item in the room when you check out. I stayed at the Richmond Hotel from 9/12-13/12 for a short trip. I left 2 rings (total worth of 900£) on the right-side bedside table of my room, which I contacted the hotel about 30 minutes after my departure as I was rushing to the airport. The rings meant quite a lot to me and I was desperate to get it back - I had emailed and called the hotel to tell them I'd be willing to provide compensation. However, the first receptionist who answered my call was extremely unhelpful and made minimal effort in trying to find the rings, asking me to "call back tomorrow" - but by tomorrow there would have been new guests staying in the room. The solution to finding lost property is not by calling back the next day. The housekeeping staff was not contacted at all, nor did this receptionist make any effort in helping a customer find lost property. This was only 30 minutes after checking out of the hotel. I called back again in an hour, and the receptionist who answered my call was another person who personally went up to the room to personally check and see if there were any rings left, which he didn't find - and said he'd contact the manager to check lost and found. I am extremely certain I had left the rings on the bedside table that morning and their loss meant a great deal to me. I am not sure why they couldn't find it when they went up and checked the room as I am literally 100% confident that I had left them at the hotel, and the exact location in the room I had left it at. I called back again the next day in hopes a customer or housekeeping had turned them in, and the hotel said the rings were nowhere to be found, and the next customer had already checked in. The way this hotel dealt with my lost property was extremely inefficient - all the hotel had to do, or all the first receptionist could have done once I notified them about leaving my property in the room was to head up to the room, or notify/ask housekeeping to check the room as soon as possible as I had told them the exact location of the rings, and prior to the next guests' check-in the rings could have been retrieved. This loss meant a great deal to me and I am sure I'd never consider staying at this hotel the next time I visit Copenhagen.

        We visited in November 16th. The hotel is perfectly located next to Tivoli. It is well connected with the airport as well. Everything is within walking distance. The common areas are looking good and are vibrant. The rooms were relatively good, clean and changed daily. The beds are really soft and comfortable. The bathroom was also really good - clean, good size and comfortable. The breakfast was nothing fancy but had everything essential for a good morning snack - there was salmon, eggs, meatballs, salami, pastry. The coffee is the weak spot - can be improved. There is a free luggage storage on site so no worries if you arrive early or leave late. The only disadvantage I can find is that there were some uncleaned surfaces like the upper side of the lamps which was dusty but it was not a big deal for me. The rooms can be renovated a bit as well. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

        The rooms look old, the bathrooms don look clean, lots of mold in the bathrooms. There is no AC, so the rooms are really hot some times. The bed is too soft that it killed my back.. There is no gym, there is not variety in the food in the breakfast, if you are going to be there many days, you will get tired of the food. The location is great!, if you like to walk, there is a lot to see walking ,there is metro nearby as well. I stayed in for a week there, and the thing that saves this hotel is the people, and the location. With better maintenance could be much better..

        Beware of misinformation regarding the public carpark they deal with. Every parking minute needs accounting for. We received a fine after grabbing some food before checking in. Hotel staff assured it was no problem. We parked within hotel booking times. ONE YEAR LATER fined €112 for the 24 minutes unaccounted for. Richmond Hotel provided NO HELP whatsoever... Nice trap for unsuspecting foreign guests

        The hotel is nicely located near a train station and bus stops, so it's easy to move around. The room was small and the bed was uncomfortable. On the plus side, they allowed us to check-in very early, which was very convenient. The breakfast was worth the price, even if the service was not always sufficient (they often ran out of forks, then bread, and so on).
