        An awesome experience at this hotel. The decor is vibey and modern and creates quite a happy atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, always willing to help. The only thing I could say something negative about is that the shower head isn't the greatest for a nice well covered shower. Other than that the breakfast buffet was very nice, with all you can imagine you'd want to eat at a breakfast buffet.

        The staff at reception lack the enthusiasm and character that the hotel reflect with their style and quirkiness. The waiting staff at the restaurant are very slow and don’t know the menu. We ordered a drink and they had no idea what is was, on top of waiting incredibly long for what we ordered. The furniture and styling in the loft where we stayed was a bit dated, but that may just be personal preference.

        This hotel is very centrally located and has great breakfast for summer vacations. The design of the rooms makes them a little difficult for non-romantic couples because the showers are in the center of the room and see through. There is also very little counter space near the sink. Housekeeping often forgot to replenish the towels after taking used ones away. This hotel had many unattended maintenance issues. We had two reservations. Our second room reservation did not have working air conditioning and there were times when our toilet did not flush for hours. We are aware that at least three other rooms on the floor did not have air conditioning. The hotel was unresponsive to everyone’s complaints of lack of air conditioning, telling as at checkout that they were going to have someone look at the air conditioning (after we were gone). A traveler’s photo was stolen out of his pocket as he stood outside the lobby while a guard/greeter watched.

        When we arrived to check in the lady with the grown out nails looked down her nose at us, then booked us into a room that wasn’t serviced. Up and down to get a room and get settled. The staff isn’t helpful at all. The restaurant/bar staff are not properly trained. An issue every time we wanted to pay our bill. There was a lingering smell of sewage in our room. The one time we asked for cleaning service, we got back to the room as we left it. Security staff are very friendly. The hotel has the vibe of an upscale backpackers. The hotel doesn’t know what it wants to be.

        Great location. We were close to the city center. My main gripe is with the room. It's just small. It was my wife and I and we were on a long southern African trip so had lots of bags and just not enough space. Also there were only two extra outlets and we have phones, tablets, smart watches and portable chargers to charge. The shower was unusually hot. And just not a lot of counter space. We have a balcony which we never used as we were out all days so would prefer to swap the balcony for more interior room. The staff are very cordial and nice. The buffet breakfast was great. So it's just the room, it wouldn't work for us but someone else may not mind
