        DO NOT BOOK IF YOU NEED TO CHECK IN PAST 9PM. Reception closes at 9pm. The systems are dated and you have to self check in which was faulty. Had to call security, and did not arrive until after midnight. And couldn’t exit room until 7am the next day. Arrived at hotel 10pm. Instructions were provided for late entry, however no key dropped from the safe. Called security listed, they arrived 12am. 12:15am I was in the room however security said I was not allowed to leave the room to get dinner as there was no room card available until the next day 7am when the reception arrived. The morning arrived , let reception girl know what happened but she did not care. Waste of an evening especially since I was in Melbourne only for 1 full day.

        Staff were friendly, but the rooms are very dated. Our first room had bad water damage, musty smell and wet carpet in the bedroom. We asked to be moved, which was sorted out in a few minutes with no hassle, and the second room was adequate, although a little worn. Shower over the Spa had no shower curtain, which made the whole bathroom wet. The earlier reviews mention a renovation is coming soon. Hopefully all the noisy old spa's are removed. We just want a big walk in shower these days, unless it's a 2 bedroom that may have small children. A great location, and surprisingly not very noisy

        NOT GOOD BY ANY MEASURE! I would seriously warn others to not stay here I recently stayed here for a last minute trip to Melbourne and the stay honestly ruined my self care get away Let me put it out there though, staff are friendly Dated rooms, clothes tags from prior guest left in ward robe, dust and dirt throughout apartment, no daily housekeeping, no fresh towels even when I requested them, dirty dishes not checked or washed properly and the worst of it was having a stranger walk into my room as I was exiting the shower in my birthday suit as management checked them into my room instead of their own No compensation, no real reasoning whatsoever, just “we’re sorry about that” This is not a place I would ever return to or recommend anyone This is gunna seem horrible but stay away

        I originally booked the room for 5 nights. Turns out, I checked out the second day morning as I could not stay any longer. - The pictures on the website are different from the real room situation. The room is old, the carpet is unclean, and the bathroom is smelly. - The public transport is very inconvenient. Only one bus stop walks 2mins away from the hotel. Plus the bus stop hides in the corner, it's quite tricky to find. If you want to take trams should walk 10mins to the closest stop. - The Internet is bad. I couldn't connect to WiFi at all. - The hotel is located in CBD Chinatown. The place is quite chaotic and unsafe. I can see the drinkers hanging around the street. It's very noisy at night. Around 12am, I heard people on the street clean the rubbish and glass bottles. I even heard teens speak very loudly and say bad words. ✅The customer service is good. Staffs are warm, kind, and helpful. The hotel doesn't meet a 4-star hospitality requirement. It doesn't own the price I paid . I don't recommend this hotel. If you are a solo traveller, especially a female, don't come to this place.

        Great location - right in China Town, so only moments to the shopping precinct. It can be a little noisy with rubbish trucks and drunken revellers singing and shouting in the wee hours of the morning. The bathroom could do with a little attention. Amazing staff - Nora at reception is brilliant 👏
