Qala Hotel

I stayed in Qala hotel for 2 days. Qala is a budget hotel having bigger rooms than all the other budget hotels in Old City Icherishehar, Baku. Although rooms are in ok condition but washroom of my room was clean but is not in good condition. Floor tiles were broken, flush of the toilet seat was not working fine, had to open the cover and press. Room had only one spare electric socket and that too was under the table, was very difficult to charge even phone. Yet, my stay was a pleasant one. The hotel manager Yusuf is very helpful, polite and speaks good english, 5 star to him as he made our stay a comfortable one. My room was on 2nd floor with the balcony and had a terrific view of the caspian sea, see the picture. Bed was very comfortable and neat accept for the pillows( which were deflated). The amazing part is their breakfast which they serve in their new hotel located opposite (image attached). Vegetarian also have a lot of options to eat and not just local food, it was a proper English breakfast. I recommend Qala if you are looking for a budget hotel, just ask for their new rooms on the top floor. And it is also located near metro station, you will not regret staying in Qala. I want to give a advice to the management of the hotel, to renovate or maintain the rooms and especially the washrooms. Thanks for hosting us. It was a good one.
