Apart from the location everything else is give 0 stars. I do not recommend at all. For the 1st time in my life, after staying at many hotels and even hostels and pensions before, for the very 1st time in my life I left the property after checking in to the room. I booked this property as the location was perfect for me, and according to their website they have “step free access”, which for someone like me that was travelling with a newborn was ideal, yet there’s no such access. I was assign room number 5 which is on the “ground floor”, while navigating to the room (which if you have a buggy or even a baby carrier) you find yourself struggling as with wrong step you’re rolling down the stairs. Mattresses are all worked out, rooms are simply falling apart and smells. Found myself at 7pm in the cold weather, walking around looking for another place to sleep with my son. From the video, it might not be visible as I had my bag on the top, but the mattress was dipped right in the middle. Has I had a C-section I explained my issue with the mattress I explain the reception the issue and they just couldn’t give the slightest care about it and even find excuses to not give the money back. So save yourself from a headache and just go elsewhere.

The location is great but that's about all it has to offer. The booking email said they would need to see ID on arrival - fair enough - but they wanted to photocopy it, and when I refused, demanded the details be entered onto the form or they wouldn't let me in. The room (on the ground floor) was small and stank to high heaven. The ensuite was ridiculously small. No sockets near the bed, which was shoved into the corner of the room with barely any space around it. Cooked breakfast was inedible. Do not stay here!

This is a budget hotel, but given the cost and quality, a real find for visitors to London. Situated over the road from the great space of Finsbury Park, it feels relaxed. The rooms are clean and although small (from my experience) they are adequate for a couple of nights and have a desk to work. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, particularly for breakfast which again makes this really good value. It's location is great for me visiting my son in South Tottenham, but with the Victoria line give quick access to central London and trendy places like Islington.

Booked here for 3 nights for my stay in London, I was excited as the hotel seemed nice. Oh boy was I wrong, on arrival the receptionist was so rude, zero customer service. The room looked OK at 1st, but then I seen the stained bed sheets, looked like semen and blood. I complained to reception, she did appear surprised, she gave me new sheets and said I would have to change them myself as it wasn't her job!! What!! The next day I woke up early cause I heard some noises. There was 2 rats in the corner of my room! That was enough I left, they wouldn't give me a refund. My advise is stay away!!!
