        Stayed 5 nights over the new years eve period. Very central in good leafy safe area. Very scenic and close to big paddington station. Great cafes and pubs very close by. Room we had was old and very dated very small ( even for European standards) Room service was just changing towels and refixing bed. Bathroom was impossible to shower in as you cant turn in it ( I'm not a large person). Heating doesn't come on until 11pm so need to keep room closed to keep cold air out in winter as no aircon. Lifts only on every second floor so struggle to bring luggage up narrow stairs and pathways. For English speaking hotel reception could have been more welcoming.

        This is the ideal hotel to stay In if you are visiting Hyde Park. Its within walking distance of Oxford street. Very friendly check in staff and the room was very clean with tea/coffee making facilities. My only negative is that the room was tiny. If you like space this is definitely not for you. We stayed in room 101 . However all we did was get a few hours sleep here so it was ok

        I stayed here with my girlfriend on a 24 hour layover in London. This hotel is conveniently about 2 blocks away from Paddington station where you can get to Heathrow but also can take the underground all over London. The room itself was small and the bathroom was tiny but we didn't mind since we really only slept here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked out around 10 (typical check out is 11) but we asked if we could leave all our luggage with them while we explored before we had to head to Heathrow and they were very accommodating.

        Ordinary tight Londonish room. Suspect the cleaning could be improved. Found hair in the shower and on the pillows in the bed.. Breakfast was good, and hospitable and friendly staff.

        The location is great for this hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but is ok, as not spending a lot of time in them. Rooms are clean. TV is in room, as again not in it lot of time, but could not watch ITV, C4, C5 at all as signal is poor. The other issue is the quilts are of double bed, but on a double bed it is small. Just an 2 inches hanging over edge. So if two adults in bed, you are fighting over the quilt. The other thing is Breakfast, well if you call it Breakfast, the poorest Breakfast I have ever encountered. Fried Eggs that have just been left on counter, jelly fied and cold. Not much of a choice, even for a continental one. We ate 1 day, and straight after went down the road to a cafe for a decent breakfast. Not been back to breakfast room. So recommended not to pay for breakfast.
