        What an amazing stay! I had the chance to be given one of the refurbished rooms which was just perfect. It had a beautiful view on the harbour. Everything in my room was new and comfortable. The staff at the reception, at the outside bar, at the breakfast and the cleaning service were wonderful, smiley and helpful. The breakfast had a wide choice of savoury and sweet food. I loved the fact that you could either have your breakfast at the tables inside or outside. The quality of the coffee machines was excellent given the fact that there was one dedicated exclusively to espressos! The atmosphere at the exterior swimming pool was relaxing and the bartender gave a really good vibe to the place. Gym available. If in Marseille, I would definately stay again!

        Hotel is very beautiful. The entrance is luxurious. The rooms are in need of renovation. At the level of 2 stars. Disappointing. The hotel is in a great location with a view of the harbor. The pool is clean, has a nice view and towels are available. The staff is friendly and at your service. The breakfast is varied, they have a corner for children. Just work on renovating the rooms!

        The formidable location is the best about the hotel. Unfortunately the guest realizes that they rely on the view and disregard the rest: The doors to the balcony were really dirty. The shower not perfectly clean. The breakfast was lackluster, nothing tasted extraordinary. When bowls were completely missing nobody cared to bring new ones for more than 30min, so that you simply couldn’t have a muesli for example. It’s not bad, but for the money you pay the place lacks the necessary attention to the details.

        Hotel was lovely , reception staff very friendly and helpful …. View of port amazing….. loved everything about this hotel …. Unfortunately car park that was suggested for parking is not safe . Driver window smashed and items from boot stolen …. Horrible end to a lovely stay…

        This is difficult. So let's start at the end. As we left we talked to a very competent, professional and supportive lady. She finally took our feedback very seriously, we had a vey good discussion with her. Sadly, she was the first of that kind we met during our 4 day stay in a suite. Until then our experience wasn't so great. When we arrived, the teenage reciptionist wanted to give us a cheaper room because he thought we couldn't afford the 400 something per night. Suite was spacious enough, balcony was good. But the furniture was more than used, even damaged and really in need of renewal. The balcony was so dirty you didn't want to touch anything. There was only 1 remote for 2 TVs, the room service didn't do their job very diligently. The view from the suite's balcony is really nice though. Food in the restaurant was pretty good, but the service was lacking. You have 4 waiters telling jokes to each other, but wait ages for one to take your order. We even left the bar because of this and went to a pub next door for better hospitality. Same with the reception which answered our questions with some version of "can't help you". The pool is so small it's useless, but the gym is okay. Overall, the stay was unsatisfactory. The location is great if you like to be in the middle of the action, but If you are looking for premium, look elsewhere. If it wouldn't have been for the professional treatment at the checkout, I would have only given 2 stars, even though there is potential for a great stay.
