Radisson RED Miami Airport

Actually a really good hotel. Outside the walking area not the most attractive even though many good hotels line up the street. But overall, the location is good, close to the airport, and easy to get in and out of the area. Rooms are excellent and spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the stand-in shower worked great along with a nice work desk and good size tv. Excellent bar and restaurant area. Check-in service could be improved. They have a pen and paper form to be filled out , and at very least, they could ask everyone in line to start completing or, at best, make such information online part of your reservation. That paper form created a huge bottle neck, and every time I saw the front desk, they only had one employee working it. Great pool area and outdoor bar area. Overall I'd say a great value for an airport hotel. They have an option to check out later for $50. (Usual check out is 11am) for me it was very handy to check out 2.30pm or they have the option to care for your bags of you check out and only need a place to have your luggage secured. Other than people slamming room doors, the hotel is very quiet. Even with major airport next to it. I'd stay here again without any problem!

The hotel was nice inside and out. My problem was my room. The room was nice, but room 613 had a fishy smell in the bathroom. Also, I noticed the floor was leaking. The shower is very slippery. That was night one. Night two, i had Room 229 and it was smelling like a wet dog. I also had a friend that stayed in room 615 and her room smell like straight piss. I don’t know if the housekeepers is not mopping the floor correctly, but the room should not have a smell to it. I also don’t like having one washcloth in your bathroom and going down to front desk to ask for another washcloth. Why should I have to wait until morning shift to ask for a late check out? I don’t Understand why the shuttles don’t start earlier than 5 AM in the morning. If a customer has a flight at 6 o’clock am or 6:30 am in the morning, then the shuttle services should be running at least three or 4 o’clock in the morning. I loved inside of the room besides the issues I would having. I’m not telling any customers to not stay there, so please make your own judgment. For me I wouldn’t stay there. I feel like Front desk late Night Shift early morning has lack of Customer service. I feel like they don’t even want to work and the Conversation is dry. I’m pretty sure other customers feel the same way. The airport shuttle bus Don’t stop at every stop to see if anyone is going to the hotels. They pretty much drive until you have to flag the driver down. I had to call front desk to see what color van will be picking me up for the hotel.
