I went in this hotel together with my family of three, during Christmas time. Since long time we’ve planned to visit Roma and enjoy that ancient city. Although Rome itself left great impression to us, unfortunately, this feeling was balanced by great disappointment in Hotel. Once we entered in the room, it came one odd smell of old furnitures, the room was not properly cleaned and not at all aired. The worst experience so far was blankets, I have no idea where did they found them but those wool blankets were there, very dirty and smelled terribly. For some reasons during cold month of December the staff thought that one smelly wool blanket is enough for a person. I complained to the receptionist that the wool blankets are dirty and its not sufficient to keep us warm. They “took care” of the situation by bringing three more of dirty smelly wool blankets. That said, during 3 nights that we’ve stayed we covered ourselves with our jackets as the smell and uncleaned blankets were to much to bare. Its really shameful, that one detail that is so important is ignored like that. On the other hand, the hotel is in great place and the train station is nearby, the toilet was clean, good supplied and the towels were regularly changed. The breakfast had not much diversity and quite limited but the quality was good. Overall, it had some good services, but what can you really say when you cannot sleep properly during vocation due to filthiness. I’ll never visit this hotel anymore and would not advise it unless you don't care on hygiene.

Very good location, despite of many homeless near termini station. In the hotel feels Italian vibe, everything was ok, friendly staff and clean room. I wish a teapot appears on breakfast))

Overall it was good. Mostly disappointed that there aren't any activities to engage with in the hotel. Such as a swimming pool or a mini games section where the guests can have good time. The breakfast that was presented each day was mostly the same and it was sufficient at best. The people at the reception are great and all the people working their also. The rooms are decent size and they are clean. TV only offers Italian programs but that's just a nitpick. I'd say I'd give the hotel 3.5 which is from what I gather the opinion of most of the group I was with but that is a good score over all since I scale it off of a high standard of some of the best hotels worldwide.

To be honest, once I read all the negative comments about the rooms, I had my second doubts about this hotel. However, when I settled in a room with my SO, I realised that most of these comments simply could not be applied to our experience. We had AC all the time with some scent, rooms were cleaned daily, towels also changed daily, no funny smells in the room, the staff was amazing, the guests at smoking area as well. Yes, the hotel is older, rustic, "old school" without fancy cards, but hey, that's what you signed up for, you have plenty of pics. Don't expect Hilton for this price..
