        The hotel actually has a lot of potential but it needs to be completely renovated. It was probably nice 15-20 years ago, but I personally didn't like the facilities at all. The bedroom has no light and the shower has no window for ventilation. You could possibly ventilate via the balcony, but if the balcony door is open you are guaranteed to have a monkey in the room. If you are afraid of monkeys running freely, it is best to avoid the hotel. The breakfast was okay and the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Because of the friendly and helpful ladies and the breakfast, which was ok, 2 stars.

        This resort has great potential but in all honesty it needs new management. The reason I say this is the terrible planning and timing. We checked in on honeymoon at Christmas in a suite near the rooftop pool which we had asked for only to be told the pool would close a day after arrival for a private event. The pool indeed was closed but during almost two days nothing happened which just annoyed guests who wanted to use the facilities. We were told it was for a private event but signs said for renovation yet lights were being hung and seating placed for what looked like a party so they really need to get their story straight. Worse still was the awful smell of sewerage when you turn in taps in the room. It’s especially bad when walking to the rear pool which guests were forced to do after closing the rooftop pool. This was such a fowl stench it almost made you want to throw up. We left the resort as soon as we could each day to spend time elsewhere. Rooms are a good size and the hotel has potential but with these issues it really needs some better management to fix problems and plan better. We observed almost 90%+ western guests, so work at Christmas is kind of nuts. Also the breakfast service was impacted by metal being cut and welding right next to where people were seated. They could have waited till breakfast was over but instead they planned and did this during peak hours. Simply nuts and sad. With better management and some work and planning this could have been a much better score but instead I have to warn about the fowl smells and suggest staying somewhere else.

        Great experience for us, last minute. Booking for 2 rooms for New Year's Eve, and they surprised us by including complimentary tickets to the new year's eve buffet and show. We already had other plans for later, but it was nice to get the full buffet which was great as part of the nights stay. We enjoyed both pools, the rooftop pool server was exceptional. Reception and check in was great, great service and you don't know. We had a problem with the air conditioner quitting on us after a few hours, they fixed it that very night and didn't have any more problems. Sure, if the building is getting a little bit older, and most of Railay has sewer/septic, or lack thereof, problems, I Did notice a little bit of a smell in the room on the second night, but you can solve that by keeping the bathroom doors closed as much as possible, especially when you leave the room and the power shuts off, which is normal for Thailand. Yes, there are monkeys to be dealt with, but they are all over Railay And the sight of a screenshot usually sends them scattering. As far as hospitality, 5 out of 5 and I would definitely spend New Year's Eve there again in the future.

        The hotel needs to be renovated. It’s very dated and smells of dump and mould. While the hotel room was clean because of the smell we didn’t feel comfortable. The smell of sewage outside the room is also very bad. We stayed here 3 nights and after that moved next door to Sand, Sea resort which was amazing and we highly recommend staying there instead

        Fabulous location, lovely clean room, friendly and helpful staff. The rooftop infinity pool was beautiful......and there were monkeys everywhere! We've already booked to stay again on our way back to Bangkok as a treat. Highly recommend this resort.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
