We highly recommend this hotel. We booked a bigger spot as both my spouse and I needed to work some of the days during our stay and sometimes both have meetings at the same time so needed one more room to solve the problem. The other perks is that there was a washier, inside of the room, and clothes drive over night naturally, and if need to can use their dryer downstairs. Laundry at both locations are free so don’t have to deal with coin change issue. The tatami room was so spacious that as soon as we walked in the room we instantly thought, how cool is it when we have our little family next time. Another plus about the place is that they utilize pin digit lock so we didn’t even need a key! The same way we are at home so we don’t have to worry about forgetting keys.

Wide and clean room. Good bathroom. Small kitchen is in the room. Refrigerator is chilling good. Location is very hard to access. Especially when you should bring your suitcase. Some road is under construction so that hard to carry on yours. If you are with young children or elderly, the location will be quite challenging. And noise from other room was annoying. Closest convinience store is 15 min walk distance.

This place does not live up to its photos. Rooms are big but tired. Decor is very unremarkable. Furniture is worn. The room did not feel clean and fresh when we arrived. No cleaning service or housekeeping, had to exchange towels at reception if we wanted fresh ones. Light inside the entrance door was on a motion detector so came on at the slightest movement in the room; very annoying at night. Bathroom basin taps were controlled by sensors which were very temperamental and no temperature control. Also basins has no plugs so was difficult to shave. Location turned out better than we first thought. 10mins walk from Tofukuji station which was good for Gion and Kyoto Station. Also there are a few local restaurants and bars around it. However staff were clueless about the area. A Japanese friend booked this on our behalf and we were horrified when we found out what they had paid; approx twice what i felt it was worth. Its an ok place to stay but only if you can get it for 12,000 yen or less.

The hotel location is quite remote. It’s a 10min walk from nearest subway. Most part of the journey has no walkway so you have to pull the luggage on the road. There is no convenient shops and cafe nearby. It’s located in the middle of residential area. The mattress is very old and no support. Had backache for few nights. The sofa is too soft. You have to sit in the middle of the seat else you will sink in and very uncomfortable. Room is clean and they provided large rubbish bin.They had the most sophisticated elective kettle, took a while to figure how to use. No housekeeping for the 4 nights we stayed. Shower facilities is quite good. Room is large and TV is large too. Can watch YouTube on the TV. There are 4 washing machines at ground floor. Sadly, tried wash and dry, took 6 hours and the clothes is still moist. Had to walk 5min to a laundromat to wash the clothes.

Located a short walk from Tofukuji Station, we found this to be a nice quiet place to stay. The rooms were very spacious and a perfect blend of Japanese style while still accommodating western hotel expectations. A kitchenette allowed us to eat in during a heavy rain and a washer-dryer enabled us to pack less. The roof-top area is fantastic for relaxing. I would have appreciated knowing about a Kyoto hotel tax ahead of arrival. (my photos are roof views)

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
