Amazing view if you can book one of the top floors as the rooms are higher than the avarage height of buildings in shanghai. The location is great, former French concession is easy to reach by walk. However the hotel is quite old and not so nice anymore. The rooms and appliances are very old. Tower one is under renovation so this should get better.

Hotel was one of the good hotel in Shanghai to stay. Location was good with nearby public transport including a metro station, a lot of restaurants were nearby & shopping was at walking distance. It had four big & tall buildings. Room was good with good street view. Breakfast buffet hall was big & served good food. People at front desk were polite. Hotel was neat & clean. A good place to stay while at Shanghai.

Stayed a few times here in the Discount Room; its clean to a good degree visual wear and tear. Had a Balcony on my first visit although the Balcony is quite dirty so no pros on having one just adds space. On my second visit, was able to check in early at 12ish but the room wasnt ready, they said theyd be there in 30minutes, so dropped out stuff and left came back at 4 and it was still not cleaned. House Keeping should all be done before 2pm if check in starts at 2pm. 2 hours later shows how pathetic they were at doing their jobs. The toilet in my room was smelly, it needs to be changed the smell from it is so strong stinks up the whole room. All Discount Rooms had basic amenities no Ironing stuff. Front desk check In and Out is fast sometimes they do make mistakes on photocopying visas and call you back again. They do speak English but it is basic but isnt a problem. Buffet Breakfast is available and also has a Shuttle Service to the Airport.Highest selling point would be its okay locality/price convenient to get around when your staying here.

The service was terrible and the concierge was outright rude. The first floor they sent us to wreaked like smoke, so they tried to give us another room across the hall, eventually they gave us a room on another floor. The room was dirty, the wallpaper was falling down and badly stained, the arm chair had a big white stain on it, the towel rack fell off the wall, the hairdryer was falling off the wall, the toilet wouldn't flush properly, the fridge didn't work, the thermostat didn't work, the WiFi signal was so weak it didn't work half the time and we couldn't get enough signal to send photos online. The room was so hot we had our balcony door wide open the entire week in the middle of winter and still woke up sweating. My sister-in-law, who speaks Chinese, was helping me get flowers delivered to the hotel for my wife. She had to yell at the concierge over the phone because of how rude he was being to her. he told the delivery man that he couldn't leave the flowers with concierge while I came down or he would throw them out. so the delivery man had to wait in the lobby while I came down. The only upside to this hotel is the price and location close to the metro. But, even with the cheap price it is not worth a stay. There are other hotels in the same area and I'm sure they would be a big improvement.

This hotel looks better from the outside than the inside. It is conveniently located in the French Concession area, few blocks away from the traditional tourist attraction market Tianzifang and 30 min walk to Xintiandi and few blocks from metro station. The rooms are small and not very clean with some fungus spots from humidity here and there. They only offer Chinise food for breakfast. Gym is located in another building and it is pretty dirty and with old equipment. No swimming pool on premises. Staff does not speak English. Lobby has a strong Chinise food odor from the hotel restaurant... get ready for your clothes to smell the same way! This is a two stars hotel!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
