        We asked for the corner apartment on the second floor, and that's what we got. And it was perfect. Large, full of light. The balcony offered views of the main street as well as the greenery around the hotel. Do not be afraid of being in the middle of town - Port Douglas is small and very quiet. The location means you have the beach, shops, restaurants and the marina all within short walking distance (5-10 minutes). No lifts was no problem for us, but it may pose a problem for people with walking difficultis or when you have heavy luggage.

        A little bit dated but the staff are very friendly and the place is great value for money. The rooms are well maintained and clean, and as a solo traveller, my room was a good size. There are no lifts, but I asked for my bags to be taken to my room, and this was happily and pemomptly done. The balcony is huge with sun loungers, blinds, and outdoor fridge and sink. The BBQs were down by the large pool, which were very clean and free to use. They even provide all the condiments, utensils, and cooking oil. While it says there is a charge for not emptying your rubbish bin, the receptionist said they only charge it to the people who leave mountains of trash and boxes of empties in their rooms.

        Good comfy rooms. Bit older decor but clean and tidy. Great position just on the main strip of shops. Got one with our own spa on the balcony so we had some great fun in the tropical heat.

        I have stayed at the Regal Port Douglas now 3 times and I can notice it's age. In the 15 years that I've been staying here I can't say anything has changed at all. This last time we noticed a lot of wear and tear around the hotel with loose, broken and fallen off tiles. They still don't have a lift to get from the lobby or parking garage up to the 1st or 2nd floors and carrying luggage up all those stairs was exhausting and unpleasant. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or room service so you couldn't stay in and relax because you had to constantly go down the street to get food and drinks. On our last night the aircon started leaking water out of it which was scary and worrying. We assume the condensation drain was clogged. If we visit Port Douglas again we will look for a more modern and better maintained place to stay. Things that we do like is the location and the beautiful big heated swimming pool.

        Booked a studio apartment with spa which I had prepaid in advance. Had I not done this I would have either asked for a different room or checked out again. Unfortunately, this isn't an apartment at all but a motel room with a spa. Annoyingly misleading. There is also no elevators in the complex so be prepared to traverse up and down stairs. This needs to be spelled out as people with a disability will get caught out. The spa apartment that's actually a motel room, doesn't have a shower either so, if your older than 40, you're going to find it really challenging if not dangerous getting in and out. Ironically, our spa didn't even work. There are 2 chairs and a small coffee table out on the balcony and that's it. No other chairs or furniture in the room which is understandable as it simply won't fit anyway. There is really no where to sit inside if you want to eat in one evening. If you enjoy an extremely hard and firm bed then you're in luck. For anyone else you're not going to get a good night sleep unfortunately. On the bright side, the room was spotlessly clean and staff at check in were very welcoming and friendly. Location also is great close walking distance to pretty much everything you could want. On site, secure free parking was also great. If you want a basic room with tea and coffee making facilities than this room is for you. Unfortunately we won't be back again as this just doesn't meet our needs.

          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
          Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.
          Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

          Modification and Reschedule Policy
