        This hotel is owned by a group that has 9 other hotels in the city. I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with them as after booking a room for 4 nights, the hotel abruptly cancelled our reservation before our late check-in, leaving us stranded. This incident occurred at night, in a city we were unfamiliar with, making it exceedingly difficult to find alternative accommodation at such an inconvenient hour. The hotel did apologize and refunded our reservation, but this was the least they could do under the circumstances. However, when I contacted them for compensation to cover the unexpected expenses we incurred due to their negligence, my requests were met with complete silence. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone and email, there was no response. Understanding that mistakes can happen, the manner in which a business addresses these errors is crucial. The lack of response from Domus Pietro Inn to a situation they caused is unacceptable. It’s disheartening to see a hotel taking advantage of a high-demand market to exhibit such disregard for the impact of their actions on guests. I am dedicating time to write this review to inform potential guests of the unreliable and unprofessional behavior exhibited by the management of this group of hotels. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service has significantly tarnished my perception of them. I urge others to consider this experience when making travel arrangements and to be cautious of the potential for such disruptions.

        I’m an experienced traveler so I’ll share my objective perspective. I booked this property through Hopper. The price was fair and competitive, and the location seemed (and it is) very central. A number was provided for WA communication and I wrote to confirm the booking and specifics. The people replied to me in a respectable timeframe, taking into account the time difference. Five days before arriving, I was charged the equivalent of one night, which was ok because Hopper mentioned that. I messaged the property about this and never replied to me back. I insisted on the same day of arrival and they didn't know about the hold. I was worried at that point. When I arrived at the property, the super-friendly person in charge confirmed with the management that indeed my payment was there. The rooms are cozy, clean, and full of amenities. I was warned that tourists, mainly from the UK and Eastern Europe, do a lot of mess that disturbs neighbors (the property shares the building with actual families) and the management had to become stricter in that sense. What I understand from this is that most of the negative reviews here are given by those bad guests. So give it a shot! I'm giving them four stars because they have to improve communication and be more clear in their specifics but price/location-wise is superb.

        I booked 2 months in advance. One week before my trip, they sent me an email asking if I wanted to cancel. I tried to call and email them to understand if maybe it was a mistake. 3 days before my trip they finally reply, telling me that they had a problem with the hotel and that they couldn't guaranteed my stay. I spent a whole day trying to talk to someone but no luck. Not even respectful enough to answer, very unprofessional of them. A lady called Caterina told me that they would call me back, which of course they never did (thanks Caterina!). For me it was frustrating and waste of time, ended up crying. Luckily Booking.com found me another place, otherwise I would have been without accommodation 3 days before the trip. People should know how you've treated some customers.

        Untrustworthy!! Very disappointed with the management, booked this room through booking and on the day of my arrival they wrote me saying they had a problem with the room and transferred me to a terrible one. However, the same room I booked was available to book for a higher price. Don’t recommend this scam for anyone!
