        I stayed here last year with my mother and brought my son back this year. You really can't beat the location or the staff. Yes, the noise from reception is a bit loud but not enough to ruin a stay or warrant a negative review. The breakfast is always good. The avocado toast they made to fit my vegan diet was delicious. Giulia is always very helpful from booking through the entire stay. My son fell in love with the city as much as I have and when we return, if we don't rent an apartment, we will always return to relais uffizi.

        My stay at this hotel had its share of disappointments. Our room was located right next to the reception area, leading to a lot of noise disturbance. It's essential that rooms adjoining the reception should be better soundproofed. Even the telephone ringing felt like it was right in our room. The breakfast was below standard, particularly the avocado, which seemed far from fresh. Finding the hotel's location was a challenge due to incorrect information on Google Maps. We requested a late check-out, and despite the front desk mentioning a fee, it was only extended by one hour for €25, which felt a bit inflexible for a four-star hotel. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. Overall, there's room for improvement in terms of noise insulation, breakfast quality, pricing policies, and maintenance.

        First of all (and that‘s the best part about this place): The hotel is located perfectly, you can do everything by walking and the main hotspots (Piazza la Signoria and the Duomo) are just around the corner. The breakfast room has a spectacular view. I assume this location is the reason you pay the price you pay. When I compare this hotel with other hotels nearby with similar or even cheaper rates (I am in Florence almost once a year), the hotel Relais Uffizi is not worth the price. Here is why: The rooms are renovated in a cheap way (Except the bathroom, these are fine), you hear every single noise in the hallway, you hear every toilet flush in the rooms nearby, the staff (except of one member, I think his name was Fabrizio) is not very friendly, the breakfast selection is only okay. To sum up: The hotel is okay, but you will find much more attractive options for the same price.

        The hotel is in a perfect location close to the main attractions but not too busy or noisy. The room was clean and modern with large windows, good in-room coffee, a comfortable bed, and lovely scented toiletries. The bar/breakfast room has an outstanding view. Drinks, coffee, and food was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and we are grateful that we were able to communicate in English because our Italian is very limited. We hope to improve in the future :-)

        My experience at Relais Uffizi was incredible. The staff was extremely accommodating- helping us book our gallery tours, transportation information, allowed us to move to a room with better AC, and helped us locate lost baggage. Even after we told them that one suitcase was lost, they called the airport for us, texted with updates and everything! We had anything we could have asked for, and the location was everything! Within a few steps from the hotel, we were right in the middle of the Signoria Square with restaurants and shopping, steps away from the Ponte Vecchio, and 10 minutes walk from the gorgeous Duomo. The one thing is the difficulty to find the hotel since it is on a small side street, but once you find it, everything falls into place!

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
