        The hubs and I needed a place to stay overnight that was fairly close to Port Miami. Despite the location, this hotel is a good value. The lobby area is beautiful. The lobby staff is cordial and quick to answer any questions. The fresh breakfast was quite nice and busy. We opted to sit on the patio, which also has a TV for entertainment, since it was kinda crowded inside. The rooms are quite spacious, which I love. I didn't know the hotel was located in a business park of sorts. The restaurants we called for a delivery, didn't deliver to that hotel. That simply means driving somewhere and that somewhere isn't very close. Overall, a good value for the dollars spent.

        Here for 10 nights. The bad: I got a 1 bedroom suite which has a bedroom and a pullout couch. I sleep on pullouts at a lot of the hotels across the country. The pullout is paper thin and springs poking into back. I went and bought an air mattress to sleep on instead. The couch itself looks nice and is functional. Not all that comfortable though. The thermostat has a motion sensor on it so it won’t run all night to keep you cool unless you have someone go activate it every 15-30 minutes. Nothing like being away working outside all day getting hot, and coming back to a hot room that takes a few hours to cool off. Also, nothing like not being able to get a good nights sleep because you are constantly getting hot and having to wake up to set off the motion sensor. We also have our dog with us so it’s troubling to leave him in a hotel room that gets warm. Their tv system is annoying, making it very user unfriendly if you want to plug in your Roku/ps5/hdmi device. And I’m a very tech knowledgeable guy. The good: The front desk manager. She is very nice. The desk: A great desk to work at. 6 feet of working space. The full kitchen in the suite is what every hotel should have. No complaints about the bathroom. It’s nice, roomy, and functional. The bedroom bed is comfortable according to my travel companion. Cleanliness: Everything looks and feels clean Overall, wish I stayed somewhere else due to the pullout bed and thermostat problems. A good nights sleep and temperature control are two of the most important parts of any stay for me. Having a motion sensor on the thermostat is a new low for me to experience with hotels.

        The rooms were old but clean. There were only 2 luggage carts for the entire hotel. Breakfast was not good. The only fresh fruit was cantaloupe and melon.

        Some of the front desk staff were good and kind yet a bit shy and had apparently zero knowledge of the area, but thats ok not a deal breaker. Others were attentive and greated you with a smile and asked how our stay was, others were completely ghost like, not a smile, not an answer, just a dead gaze. What are you going to do, humanity, we are all different. The hotel top brass were extremely courteous and accomodating and I greatly appreciate it. The hotel is clean even though I wish the hallways were cleaner but then again it was and endless coming and going of families and workers so I appreciate how clean they kept the hotel. The rooms were clean and ample and comfortable yet I wish they used the slightest aromatherapy in the rooms or hotel overall to sort of set a mood for the visitor but that's ok I purchased some air fresheners and the room was blissful. The cleaning staff was efficient, friendly and kind. I was not impressed by the breakfast, somedays it was satisfying other days they were lazy and the breakfast area you could tell was not a priority which I really regret since breakfast is really important to me, so we decided to order out for the rest of the stay. One day they would have pancakes, other day waffles, but other times they wouldn't have either and that's a deal breaker for me. Their Greek yogurt tasted like plaster so don't know what was going on there. I really believe hotels need to ensure their breakfast is excellent if they offer it because it can really ruin the whole experience for a client. I had a good experience at this hotel and I do recommend it. I also didn't like the fact that I had to take my dirty clothes with me because people would leave their clothes in the washers for hours and everytime I went to clean my clothes I couldn't take theirs out, not that I wanted to, even after an hour of waiting sometimes four and when I asked the staff for help they couldn't help and just shrugged their shoulders. I have stayed at Residence Inn by Marriot where they actually offer to pick up your clothes and wash them for a price and I was always happy to pay for that service, extremely convenient. Thankyou to all the staff that made our stay enjoyable and we definitely look forward to staying with you again and seeing you all again.
