        Brazil was my first stop on my holiday, I spent a week in sao paulo and then came to rio Copacabana where I was booked into an apartment with Rio spot homes from 22nd October until 6th November. The apartment was very modern, clean, and a bit saucy with its mood lighting in purple, my favourite colour, great for lovers, sadly I was on my own 😔 and being on Avenue prado junior, very close to everything, security was excellent and 24 hours. Communication by the company was excellent and the staff are all very friendly, and very reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend them and will be staying here the next time I come to rio

        I booked a place at Rio spot homes in March when the COVID-19 pandemic was beginning. They told me they would give me a refund on my booking because my flight was canceled. However they told me to go and cancel it online, even though their policy was that they would only accept cash at the front of the counter when I checked in. After that when I called them to ask about why they charged me, they would not respond. I am not happy with how they treated me.

        We stayed for 3 days in the apartment located at Nossa Senhora de Copacabana 750. Good location, no problems in the bathrooms or kitchen. Unfortunately there were cockroaches in the place and a small Gecko. They charge you 200 reais as a guarantee up front, you must pay in cash. They only return them if there are no stains on the beds, sheets or towels, which I find totally out of place since with so much sand and dirt, the bedding can get perfectly dirty. The apartment has air conditioning. It wasn't a bad experience but I wouldn't rent here again.

        I DON'T RECOMMEND IT ANYMORE. Incredibly disappointed, as service excellence went from 6 to 0. Upon arrival, they default to checking and charging, they charge upon arrival and also ask for a 200 reais pair of shorts. At the arrival check they do some tests in the Apartment, nothing compared to when leaving, super embarrassing, they look at all the towels and check if there are any stains, and they say if there are any stains I will charge extra. NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE: After making a superficial conference and leaving us to stay in an apartment with a packed lunch in the fridge, with the shower that didn't start on the first day, Yes, we ended up taking a shower, because when I signaled they came to deliver a bucket after 2:30 am. I asked if there was a planB for us, it was already 11pm when they said there is a shower in the office, do you accept a shower? We were so angry that we said we were supposed to speak at 8pm when I signaled. Anyway, the experience was terrible, there is no planB, they don't leave technicians on duty. As a Local Guide, I need to put on record that they can be the best venture, but if they don't have contingency plans they get worse.

        Terrible, I don't recommend it. A department that of the days we were there, more than half of us did not have water all day. A permanent noise throughout the day because it was under construction, the staff that attended us was very unempathetic, they do not speak a word in Spanish, I asked them to consider the failures when charging, they demanded payment upon entering (we arrived Saturday 11 p.m., We didn't have anywhere to change money, and they didn't have anything to give us change in dollars either) I made complaints every day, and no one answered me or knew how to give me an answer. NOTE THE LITTLE EMPATHY IN THE OWNER'S RESPONSE, HA!
