        This is NOT a five star hotel! First off service was great! Everyone at the front desk was very kind and helpful. And location was good. Unfortunately that is where the compliments to this hotel end… First and foremost the hotel put my mother and me in danger… At the end of our stay we asked the front desk to call a taxi for us to the airport. The very nice lady behind the desk said that she would arrange it for us. The next morning the tall dark haired gentlemen behind the desk said our taxi had arrived and put my mother and I in a black car with a driver wearing a suit. My mother and I were a little confused but the gentlemen in the hotel reassured us that is was our taxi. When we arrived at the airport the driver charged us 58 Euro and then proceed to state that he was cash only (due to his card reader breaking that morning). This presented a problem as to we did not have cash and were not made aware of this until we had arrived at the airport. At this point the driver became very aggressive with us and we felt we were in danger. The driver charged us $60 and did not provide us with a receipt. After the incident I called the hotel and spoke with Max. Max said that it was very strange that a black car picked us up and not a white car with a taxi sign and no number on the side of the car. I explained to Max that the tall gentlemen with dark hair working behind the desk that morning was the one who assured us that it was our taxi. At the start of our stay… My mother and I booked this hotel based on location and the fact this hotel said it had air conditioning. When we arrived and was put in room 108 the thermostat in the room would not go below 25.4°C (77°F). This was an huge issue due to my mother having medical issues and the temperature in Rome at the time was 36°C (96°F). When we tried to call the front desk about asking to send someone up to help us we quickly found out that the phone in our room was not working. After walking downstairs and explaining the problem they put an industrial size fan in our room (which honestly just blew dust all around our room and was very loud). In our room we also found tiny sugar ants. Additionally, the ceiling in our hall was leaking water through a lighting fixture. This is NOT a five star hotel and that title should be taken away from this establishment. I am very disappointed with this hotel. I highly do not recommend staying here.

        The staff was incredible! My wife and I stayed two nights. The first night was in a standard room which was only okay. The 2nd night they upgraded us to a deluxe room and it was wonderful, thank you Zanielle! Yes,we would stay here again. Only a 10 minute walk to the Colliseum. The Bistro breakfast was really nice, the staff were very kind and helpful!

        Location is great because it's so close to everywhere you. The hotel is kind of old, which is matching the area. Staff are amazing . Super nice. I would give the breakfast one star, nothing good. Rooms are good not 5 stars though

        This is not a 5 star hotel. The AC did not work all night. There was dust on the night tables. The bathroom was filthy, with missing knobs on the sink. The shower mat was turning yellow and smelled disgusting. The worst part was the bed. The bed was so squeaky and very hard! The staff is friendly, other than that, don’t waste your time and money staying at this hotel.

        Fantastic location. Lovely staff. Amazing breakfast options including lots of gluten free. Rooms cleaned daily. Fresh towels daily. Air conditioning worked perfectly. No complaints at all. Thank you so much.
