        I recently stayed at Romalive in Rome (Via Flavia 84, 6th floor), and my experience was far from satisfactory. I need to share my concerns about a troubling incident and express my disappointment with both the management and potential future guests. During my stay, despite locking my room, I discovered that someone entered without consent, resulting in the theft of money. The violation of my privacy and the loss of belongings left me distressed. When I approached the staff, they dismissed the incident, attributing it to cleaning service access. This response raises serious questions about security measures at Romalive. Similar instances in other reviews reveal a pattern of security issues, urging the management to address and rectify these promptly. My attempt to find a resolution with the property manager was met with an unaccommodating response. I was questioned about choosing Romalive despite negative reviews, and the manager focused on proving the safe was not functional, disregarding the missing money issue. The missing money, stored in a wallet within the safe, remains unresolved. Immediate action is crucial for Romalive to enhance security measures, investigate the incident, and reassure guests about the safety of their belongings. I hope this review serves as constructive criticism, urging Romalive's management to prioritize guests' safety.         The hotel is at a perfect location, it's close to roma termini, and some other touristic spots. The hotel is at the 6th floor of the building (lift access). The hotel staff is also very nice and polite. He also gave suggestions for visiting rome and some nice restaurants nearby. He showed the room and the entry code for the corridor. The room is good for a short stay, as it says in the description it's a small room for a single person. The amenities were more than sufficient in the bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean. The only thing that could have been better was the light in the room. The light was too low, it was actually just the bed side light and no wall-light. The light in the bathroom was good and bright.

        The absolute worst hotel in the country, after weeks of travelling Italy and being in multiple hotels I had decided to book this hotel due to it proximity to the train station and ignored the previous reviews to my own downfall. The hotel is managed by the most disrespectful, ignorant and aggressive management I have ever experienced after decades of travels around the world. Upon arrival the check in room was empty and I called the number posted on their door to ask for staff or management to come check me in for my stay. The poster asked to contact someone named Mr. Chan who came after a few minutes of waiting. Mr.Chan immediately started yelling at me asking who I was and what my name was, I provided him my full name as well as my booking number through Expedia informing him I had booked a room for the night I was interrupted immediately and told that he doesn’t care and that he doesn’t have any rooms available for me. I tried letting him know once again my room had been booked and fully paid for through Expedia however he once again interrupted me and said he doesn’t care what Expedia says and wouldn’t provide me a room. I tried showing him my reservation on my phone and he immediately got aggressive with me, raising his voice and trying to intimidate me, repeatedly telling me to leave and that I was not wanted. I asked him to call to confirm he didn’t have me booked as I had the confirmation of my booking on my phone, and if a room wasn’t available to me I would like a refund. He called someone in Italian insulting me and my girlfriend during his conversation as he did not believe we understood and once he realized he was indeed wrong and our booking was on the system he got even more frustrated and insulting me in English again telling me to leave and contact Expedia for a refund Due to his aggression towards my girlfriend and his incredible rude and disrespectful behaviour all while trying to physically intimidate my girlfriend we could not continue to stay at this hotel. To the owners of this location I would highly suggest removing Mr.Chan from your employment as he is misogynistic, racist and rude and does not deserve any form of employment in the hospitality industry or any industry requiring relations with other people

        The worst possible place you can stay in Rome. Landed in Rome around 10 p.m and got there just before midnight to find our booking had been canceled due to their negligence, even tho we had booked months in advance. They put the blame on Expedia (who we booked through) who we have been in contact with now that it’s over, and they had nothing to do with it. After negotiating for an hour about getting a room, two other couples came in with the same problem. Disgusted by the rooms, my partner and I decided it was best to leave and find somewhere else. I strongly advise anyone to do the same.

        Nice room with balcony. Good price and friendly staff. Jacob was wonderful. I took advantage of the pick up and drop off from the airport and to hotel and he was right there with my name as soon as we came out of the gate. Very helpful on guiding us on how to get around using the public transportation. The hotel is within 20 minutes walking distance from the sightseeing places.
