Highly recommended apartment hotel in Cape Town. Romney Park is not the cheapest “Aparthotel” per night, but I think spending a little more at Romney Park is worth it for a few reasons. The layout of the hotel and rooms is well done and you can tell has been considered - it’s not one of those places that just looks good in photos, it’s actually good. The main road (High Level Rd) is behind the hotel so road noise is only from the very small one way cul-de-sac in front of the building (i.e. virtually none). I stayed in two different rooms during my stay and both had very functional and spacious layouts, both lead to a balcony with sea views, bathrooms was spacious and well equipped, the living room was an acceptable size and comfortable. It looks like they have a lot of different size apartments, some liked very big. The hotel is located in Three Anchor Bay (between Green Point and Sea Point), which is incredibly convenient for Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, as well as very close to the city center. It’s walking distance to the Cape Town Stadium too. Staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great too. Pro tip, if you are on the 4th floor or higher you get a very nice seat view.

Incredible stay and excellent staff. The room was massive with its own lounge, kitchen unit and big balcony area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is small and the menu is a la carte, but great quality breakfast nonetheless. Room and cleaning service did a great job. Note, there wasn’t an air con unit in the bedroom, but they do have a little fan that can be plugged in. Overall, great stay in a convenient, safe and secure location.

Clean, a sense of safety and security concern with details, service is over the top from your dining in experience, e.g I wanted a carry out box to take my remaining, the waitress politely wrap my food and insisted gently I will take it to your room, I needed a document printed, I enquired about a business center, the front desk attendance, said we will print it for you he was a problem solver. I took the trip alone my room was near the elevator, going in and out of the garage was super easy. It was quiet, perfect for me cleaning staff did an amazing job as well with clean the apartment daily or upon me putting my leather door nob knocker outside my door, I needed additional towels, no problem, the veggie omelet with cheddar cheese was delicious...now this is luxury living.

It is a deep pleasure and most inspiring to experience true excellence. Unlike impersonal precision like many top-notch places, one can see and feel the warm heart behind the ‘sceptre’ at Romney Park. It is super refreshing. Thank you and well done!
