Totally, that was our the best choice to stay in Madrid. It's very central (at Gran Via). The stuff was really helpful and our room was so cute even though it's quite small. Some rooms don't have doors for toilets but it wasn't a big issue for us. If you would like to stay here, you definetely choose breakfast included. I am not a breakfast person but this was amazing! PS: They have welcome drink for their amazing rooftop. Hope to see you again!

This is a lovely hotel where rooms differ from each other, so there is variety and unique design. Not always practical (our toilet had very thin glass walls that were opaque and no lock), but our room was tastefully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and the windows were great at blocking out road noise. We woke up each day refreshed and ready to explore. We didn't have the breakfast, but it looked delicious. We did enjoy the rooftop bar, complimentary cava and view one night. The hotel is in a very central location. We walked everywhere and didn't have a need to take public transportation, but it was extremely close if we needed. Service was great. Everyone was very welcoming and willing to help. Would definitely stay there again if we come to Madrid!

Really happy we decided to stay here. The location is so handy if you're planning on staying in the centre of Madrid - everything is very walkable and it felt dead centre. Our room was comfortable and stylish. This is of the category of modern hotel where the 'bathroom' is an unsealed glass cube within the room, so don't expect too much privacy. A suggestion to management maybe add an air freshener to the selection of toiletries! Staff were helpful and quick with everything we needed. We chose an interior room to make sure it was quieter and despite the location it was very quiet and comfortable. The only points on this were the soundproofing from the hallway is poor so you do hear everything outside your door, including the staff on the way to clean (the office is on the second floor next to 215). The breakfast buffet was great and we looked forward to it each morning. Something we loved about this place was the breakfast and checkout are until 12pm! Perfect for lazy people like us. Another little touch I liked was the Universal Declaration of Human Rights instead of a bible. Nice touch and very relevant in late 2023.

I recently spent five days at Room Mate Macarena - Gran Via Hotel for a business trip, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I checked in, the level of service and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed me about ongoing renovations next door and thoughtfully provided me with earplugs, anticipating any potential disturbances during the daytime. To my surprise, I did not experience any disruptions, even though I worked in my room. This proactive approach to guest comfort and communication set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. Throughout my five-night visit, the rooms remained spotlessly clean. The attention to cleanliness was consistent and greatly contributed to my overall sense of comfort. The added touch of offering rooms with marvelous views enhanced the ambiance, making my stay even more enjoyable. One standout feature of the hotel was the rooftop bar, which proved to be a fantastic retreat after long working days. The breathtaking views, coupled with the opportunity to unwind with a drink, provided an extra layer of relaxation and enjoyment. This amenity truly set the hotel apart and added considerable value to my stay. I also want to commend the General Manager for evidently instilling a culture of excellence in service and customer care throughout the hotel. It was evident in the attentiveness of the staff and the seamless experience I had during my time there. In conclusion, Room Mate Macarena - Gran Via Hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers, whether for business or leisure. Kudos to the entire team for making my stay truly memorable. I look forward to returning in the future.

This hotel impresses with its beautiful, modern design and friendly staff. The views from the upper floors are exceptional, adding to the overall charm. Rooms are tastefully decorated, although in some instances, design takes precedence over functionality, leading to a few impracticalities. Its central location is perfect for city explorers, but be aware of the street noise. Thankfully, the windows provide ample sound insulation. The highlight is the excellent breakfast buffet on the top floor, complemented by a welcome glass of champagne in the rooftop bar.

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
