The location is superb and the view is magnificent. Park was a little troublesome. The rooms were compact and cozy but the beddings and towels were probably clean but was stained. Bathroom wasn’t clean when we walked in and the heater stopped working around 8pm and was just blowing cold air. When we requested for a Fan heater, they had none and since all the rooms were occupied there was no possibility to swap the rooms also. There was no coffee in the room and room service prices were absurd. The breakfast was too basic and the food wasn’t great. As it was warm it was edible. Overall, can improve.

I will rate them negative, if I could. They denied us a confirmed booking, possibly because they were getting better rates in peak season, didnt care to inform right until we called them. I was with my family and think of the nightmare we had to go through finding another hotel in a different country in peak season.

Wonderful place to stay. It's just Infront of the Gregory Lake. people who wanted to have a peaceful vacation with utmost environment lovers we are recommending this place. We came to stay for one day but their service, food and the support made us to stay another day with them. One of the best places in Nuwara Eliya. You will first think that the place is not big but just go inside and see, very spacious room with balcony facing the lake. Food were served on time and very delicious. Definitely a place to visit again...

My stay at the Royal Lake Hotel in Nuwara Eliya was absolutely magnificent! The staff's warm hospitality, coupled with the hotel's stunning lakeside location, created a serene atmosphere that left me spellbound. The elegantly appointed rooms, delectable cuisine, and proximity to Nuwara Eliya's attractions made it a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend the Royal Lake Hotel

we booked triple room with balcony. we paid advance payment. but we were very disappointed . we call them many times and asked about our room but they didn't arranged the room. they try to give us a room ..but that not what we expected one. this is very small hotel. very bad service. we went to another place. only good thing is view.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
