I always love staying at the Royal Palm Hotel when I travel to Durban for business. It's location in Umhlanga is perfect for travel to almost anywhere. It is safe in the area and exceptionally convenient with the Gateway mall just across the way. The main reason for me always booking here is that the rooms are so spacious with a separate lounge and balcony to the room. The bathroom is just as spacious and still offers the option of either a luxurious soak in the bath after a really long work day or a soothing shower. These are separate. The staff are really friendly as well.

Good location and staff. Security sent me to the wrong parking, parking was secure and free though. Taps and toilet was sketch. Toilet gets clogged and taps were inconsistent. Wifi was ok but not the best for WFH if u do video calls. Was on the 6th floor. Requested early check-in but it's like no one even tried, when I called, it's like the lady didn't even know I had asked. Would probably stay there again coz the price vs what u get is decent but will follow up the day before or early morning for early check-in. That check-in story really annoyed me. Atleast say that we tried but could not.

Stunning room that was very spacious, clean and great value for money. Amazing location across from Gateway making it convenient for shopping and restaurant visits. Highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back.

Outstanding hotel with the most amazing service. Food is exceptional. Staff efficient and friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. Well positioned for a business trip or vacation! I would not hesitate to recommend Royal Palm Hotel.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
