Summary: Great ideas and aesthetic! Poor execution starting with customer service, followed by both services I received, the ambiance and food were ALL sub-par and therefore overpriced. Disappointing and this spa seems more of a facade to capture a photo or two for the gram than to actually be served well/to relax. Customer Service: Poor communication and lack of clarity/understanding. Bitter lady at the front gasped twice when I asked for something (once was for water following my massage). No water bottles she told me and then brought me a jug of tap. They charge you extra for surgery style disposable trunks that are so baggy it nearly defeats the purpose of wearing them if ya know what I mean. Very long period of no service or checking in when waiting to order food and getting served the water that they placed out of reach of me in the hot tub/bath. Tea didn’t stay warm for duration of being inside the bath (a warming induction plate or tea-light tray would have been ideal) Ambiance/Setting: This is not a relaxing setting. Noisy stairs all the way up past all of the rooms (no elevator). Outdoor tubs means loud motorcycles and buses cruising by are unavoidable. Design is pretty but needs upkeep and repainting. Hot tub jets unexpectedly blasted on twice during my time trying to relax. Sadly and hence the willingness to take the time to write a review, this means it was a waste of time and money to me. When asked upon checkout, if I was happy with the services, I tried to give feedback and let her know it was all mediocre at best. She didn’t seem to care and quickly charged me for the remaining incidentals.

From the outside, the building is simple. You can easily miss it if not for reading the name in the inside wall. Centrally located, Ryo Kan can be described as a hotel that is simple, minimalist with clean lines and modern decor. The spa is located on the rooftop; open air. The massage was just what we needed after a stressful week. And the Japanese tub was very relaxing. (Please note: must have smart phone to use app; this opens doors, controls lighting, curtains/panels and the smart TV.)

Hotel is small but neat and great design. Lights, door, shades, music and TV are all managed through your phone which is nice and high tech but can be annoying at times, specially for the door. *NOTE* the hotel or rooms do NOT have A/C only fans so if you’re trying to stay there during summer be prepared as it can get hideously hot!, I was not ready for that, however when I brought this to the attention of the staff and requested another room with a window to better the airflow, they upgraded me to another room free of charge which I appreciate. Overall, nice and different, would recommend for a weekend to just give it a shot and experience something not as common.

I would have put 4/5 if only the person at the reception did not do some calls between 3 and 5am. I was on the second floor and could hear everything. This basically destroyed my night. The hotel is pretty, clean, the people at reception are often great and the onsen was fine. I wish there was more food / coffee but... I really wish that the person at the reception did not do some calls very loud for 2+ hours!!! this was insane. If the hotel want to refund me. Please contact me. thank you

Massage was great and rooms are chic and very Japanese but there are major customer service problems. I booked a four-hour massage package with room and never received details of the schedule until I arrived. They told me my massage started immediately and I needed to change. Then after the massage they told me they had already filled the whirlpool for me but I wasn't ready to soak in the spa. They asked me for a time for the whirlpool and I said in one hour. After one hour, there was no water to fill the tub and the standing water was now lukewarm. I asked them to check on it and waited over an hour with no updates. All they did was make me tea. There is no food onsite and no steam room (some website details implied that both are available). After 90 minutes waiting and at least two check-ins with staff, there were no updates, no special offers or ideas for my wasted time. With 20 minutes left in my package I returned to the room to take a shower and change, except there was no hot water in the shower, even after waiting for it to warm up. When I checked out I mentioned how disappointed I was and again they did not offer me a discount, a chance to come back, or literally anything. I did not even receive an apology just "There was a problem." In sum, I feel bad for the masseurs because they will bear the brunt of this. I ended up paying an exorbitant sum for a massage and nearly 3 hours of sitting in a bathrobe doing nothing.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
