It was a really nice experience. Breakfast was good! The place is a bit far from public transport but the ryokan provide a free shuttle to a station.

Very beautiful hotel. The location is great if you're looking for a very quiet and relaxing place. There's some very nice restaurants nearby (Muroi and Otagi) but you'll have to reserve months prior to get a seat because they're really popular. Another great option nearby which is easier to reserve but great quality is Funaokayama Shimizu.

Spacious room but there were no mattresses. It was like we sleep on the floor. Totally uncomfortable. We stayed to 3 more Ryokan but this was the worst choice unfortunately and the most expensive meanwhile 😓 The access at the garden is prohibited to the ones who do not stay in the ground floor. It was not clear at the time of the booking and we actually booked it for the garden that we never visited 😂 When we arrived late at the evening we informed about nothing so in the morning we did not expect to clock out at 10:00. Anyway the people at the reception were all friendly and pleasant! Not out best stay but thank you though!

Stayed here for 3 nights in early January and had a wonderful time. The location isn't central as it is more north of Kyoto but they have a free shuttle service to the subway line at 9am and 10am every morning. Also, get the breakfast, it is around $15 per person and it must be ordered a day in advance. Was wonderful for the family to enjoy. Also, the service is top notch. From customer service to the kitchen staff. I also lost a prized possesion (A teddy bear for a child) and was able to contact this ryokan via instagram in which they were able to ship to an address in Tokyo. Truly blessed this Ryokan is awesome :). Also, if staying with 4 or more people, get the bigger suite that has a platform with 2 normal beds and 2 floor beds with table beside it. Room just looks awesome like the pictures I saw when booking it. Kids loved it

We love the food and the room. Our room is located in the renovated wing and it was beautiful - traditional but also modern. We got the traditional room with tatami mat and futon. Our bathroom was huge - we have a bathtub facing the window overlooking the garden and the mountains. Our room rate includes dinner and breakfast. We really enjoy the meals here - kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were phenomenal! The staff are also very nice and helpful, we feel welcome every day of our stay.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
