My wife found it on Instagram and recommended it to me, so I decided to change my mind and use this inn instead of the hotel I usually use on business trips. It was too spacious for one person to stay there. The dining table on the first floor is large, so I was able to spread out my materials and work. There is a well-equipped kitchen, cooking utensils, and tableware, so you can cook simple meals. Since I was staying for one night, I bought dinner and breakfast at a convenience store and just heated them up, but it was convenient to have a refrigerator and microwave. The next morning, I took a walk around the nearby Shimabara Daimon Gate and the surrounding area, where the old townscape still remains, before heading to work.

I bought some ingredients to make a meal in my room, and I was so happy that they had plenty of cooking utensils! I don't know anything about Kyoto, so the staff who came to my hotel and told me about tourist spots in the area was very helpful! It was a convenient location, close to the Kyoto Aquarium and the nearest station. The kitchen and bathroom are very stylish, so I think it would be great for a girls' night out or as a couple.

I stayed with 3 adults and a dog 🐶 at the end of the New Year. The price was a little high as it was high season, but we had a very comfortable stay. I went for a walk with my dog every day to Umekoji Park, which is within walking distance from the hotel! It was the middle of winter and I only had one comforter on my bed, so I thought I would be able to sleep more comfortably if I had one more. It was a bit cold.

This inn is a renovated Kyoto townhouse. You can see the Daimon gate of Shimabara from the bedroom on the second floor. As you pass through the entrance, you will find a modern bar-like space with a kitchen counter. The ceiling on the second floor is high and you can see the thick beams, giving you the feeling that you are staying in a townhouse. The bathroom was also a cool and tight space.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
