I thought I had found a great deal but when I went up to my room I was assaulted by the smell of stale tobacco. To my horror I had been assigned a smoking room. This turned out to be something I had not noticed when booking, but they would only change me to a non-smoking room if I paid to upgrade my room for 60% more than my original booking. This was within their rights, but negatively coloured my experience. The room itself was serviceable. Though it was rather dated, it was clean. There was no air conditioning, only heating, and I found it rather hot. The shower had scalding hot water and the ceiling was a bit too low for me (I’m 190cm). But the bed itself was decent, and there wasn’t much noise.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel in Shibuya. It was so well located to Central Shibuya but far enough away to avoid the possible noise. Very good value for position etc in Tokyo! Very clean, great friendly staff. Room was a lot bigger than hotel near Haneda airport. Recommend it!

An okay hotel near the Shibuya district. The hotel's location is a bit awkward as one typically has to cross a pedestrian bridge to get there which can be cumbersome with lots of luggage, you also need to walk uphill for a bit which is also tiring. The rooms themselves were ok but of a bit lower quality than typical rooms in Tokyo. What frustrated me was that I couldn't keep my key when going out of the hotel, and the hotel has signs explicitly prohibiting guests. This made me feel watched by the concierge. Also the no-guests policy can be frustrating for people looking to party in Shibuya.

This is a very cute hotel with very interesting decor. The room is small (like any other hotel in Japan) but they managed to put a lot of necessary things in the room in such a fashion that it was not cluttered. The Service was A++ we had 2 small requests upon our stay and even though they were hesitant to allow it at the end they were very courteous and helped us. The location is great, it's a bit tricky to get here the first time from the subway but it was mainly due to the GPS not working right. If you have large suitcases just get a Uber, it was 823 JPY with all the fees (under $6) the app is in English and it was flawless, we made the mistake to try to walk to the hotel when we first arrive hauling 2 large luggage and 2 carry-ons, it was a workout, Uber is worth it. Good location, minutes away from a lot of restaurants, entertainment, etc
