Extremely well located (right at the subway exit). Not too far from bus stops also. Rooms were clean and decently sized (can open large luggage to pack etc. comfortably on the floor). Public bath clean and comfortable. Free drinks daily in the evening (happy hour). Both alcoholic and non alcoholic.

We had a big group, they didn't want us to gather a large table and loud and they were not that bad. VERY good breakfast and closed to Kyoto train station 10 minutes and easy to find. Good price as well. Love the public bath for ladies.

Stayed for 4 nights at this hotel during our vacation. + Location is great so it’s easy to go anywhere from the hotel. + Staff is nice and helpful + Breakfast buffet is nice and actually matches the pictures! Free welcome drinks in the evening and coffee available during the day in the lobby. However no bottle of water available in the rooms. - WiFi is terrible in the rooms, only works a couple hours a day, otherwise it’s impossible to even load a simple webpage. In the evening we were pretty much always on mobile data. - Rooms layout is weird probably due to the size of the rooms: Only one bedside with no power socket. To charge your phone you need to put it at the opposite of the room on the desk. +/- Laundry is free, but I don’t think the machines are designed for this workload, and there are a lot of queue to just to a cycle cleaning + drying. A guy in front of me just broke a dryer handle when opening the dryer… I would prefer paying for laundry to have more and better machines like other hotels.
