        Our stay at Salinda was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. The resort is set in a lush garden environment that was so tranquil to wander through. The staff were amazing and worked so hard to ensure our stay was perfect. Nothing was too difficult for them. They were friendly and attentive and went that extra mile to ensure we felt welcomed. The sparkling wine breakfast was an absolute highlight. The variety and quality of food on offer was exceptional. I could go on and on about why I loved this resort, but you really need to experience for yourself. You won't want to leave

        We booked the hotel after much research, we considered a few and one of the key factors was its location and great score. Overall I must say it’s a very good hotel, but lacking in some factors to make it wonderful. First, what bothered us most was the lack of good English speakers among the crew. The people at reception were ok at their English level, but far away from other 5 starts hotels we visited in the world. The staff in the other areas of the hotel including the pool were lacking badly in their spoken English!! I tired to order food at the pool and change some details and it was very hard to communicate, so everything ended up with just pointing stuff at the menu. The room service at night was also very limited. Another con was the balcony view which is obstructed by some wooden plates for some unclear reason. Pros: Staff is very friendly and service was excellent (ignoring the language barrier) Pool area is fun and beach access is great Rooms are nice and beds are soft and comfortable We’ll definitely come back, please just improve staff skills in English!

        My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in Dec23. Location was great, staff are friendly and helpful, great live piano during breakfast time. However, the room is a bit old, the pillows quality was surprisingly poor; the toilet flushing cistern button was not working good, each time need to press few times; Poor event management : we joined the Xmas beach bbq party on 25 Dec night with complimentary beach photo with Santa, however the Santa did not show up and none of any announcement beforehand, we queried about it to the waitress and was told that Santa was sick. We wondered how come there was no backup/replacement. After we returned to our room, a staff in Santa costume show up and asked if we would like to take a photo with him “in the room”, although we appreciated that the staff/hotel tried to do something for us after such bad experiences, it’s totally different feeling to take photo with Santa in the room instead of at the beach party and we were no longer enjoyable at that time.

        Reviews made it seem like this was the nicest resort on Phu Quoc, and I left agreeing with this feeling. We stayed at a few other places on the island, and Salinda was far and away the nicest experience. Breakfast was tasty. The beach/kayak/pool experience was great, especially with beautiful sunset views. Proximity to many restaurants was also a plus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

        This place is exceptional in every way. The service is beyond 5 star and the setting and pool and beach out of this world. If you love sunset don’t look further. We travel a lot and are used to all levels but this is a rare find. We staying at 505 with the most magical bathroom and lovely set up. But what makes this place best is the staff, their breakfast and food. The breakfast is like make a wish and we make it true. My wife has gluten intolerance and diary and they make their rice bread fresh every day and gotten almond milk extra for their cappuccino. The chef is amazing and attentive. Lila, Tram, Dat so nice and helpful. English is much better than any other place on the island. Thank you for looking after us and also taking care of Liam our 6 year old son.
