Great place! Fantastic location on the door step of the old town which is truly amazing. The host Michele was there to welcome us and provide information about best places to see or where to find good restaurants. Very friendly person which we ended up having a great conversation with. The B&B is set up in a beautiful old building but finished in a very modern and stylish way. The room was lovely with bathtub in the main room and shower and toilet nicely arranged in the spaces around. Very comfortable beds and all the facilities you need. Breakfast served on the roof terrace which was lovely. We will definitely come back to visit Matera and I will definitely book this place again.👌

Literally a developing BnB in a local building. They will message you to confirm your arrival time so that the person in charge will be at the door to welcome you. Newly decorated. Nice settings. Clean. Equipped with mini fridge, towels, shampoo, hairdryer, water, WiFi. No door for bathroom but only a moving blind, so do expect to come with someone close enough. Parking was along narrow streets in the area, real luck. I reached Sassi in 10 minutes on foot. Close to some good restaurants. Breakfast was in a separate building, a cafe located a few blocks down (5 mins walk), present the coupon provided by the lodge at the cashier, self-serviced.

I stayed with my wife for 2 nights in this B&B. The first negative impression was being faced with a steep staircase of (26) steps at the entrance, this problem is not evident from the photos on the site. In the room there is no door to the bathroom but rather a (simple curtain) with zero privacy. Breakfast is served outdoors on the terrace, a good solution for the summer period but absolutely not recommended for the autumn - winter period. Due to rain, one morning breakfast was served to us in the room, with the only surface being a small table and a single chair, so the breakfast was rather disappointing and poor. Nothing to say just for the cleanliness of the room, absolutely not recommended.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
