We loved our stay! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed daily. It's amazingly quiet for its excellent location. You can easily walk to family friendly places and a grocery store. I would recommend staying here and will again when we return to San Jose.

Positives: It is budget hotel in the downtown area. If you plan to use buses for travel across CR, it is a good location as bus stations are a walking distance. It has a swimming pool and gym. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Negatives: It’s location is also a negative. The staff advised us not to go out in the dark as it is unsafe (possibility of mugging). They even advised us against waiting outside the hotel for the Uber. The area around and the road on which it is located looks rough. We stayed for one night and our room had dirty bedsheets and pillow covers - an "economy" room does not mean cutting corners for cleanliness. The decor of the room and bathroom are very dated, which wouldn’t be a problem if maintained and cleaned properly. The pictures do not reflect the true condition of the/our room. Breakfast felt very minimal. Conclusion: If you can afford a little bit more stay along the national museum area.

My husband and I stayed here one night when we first arrived in San Jose. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff was very hospitable! We met the owner who told us about the hotels history and a little about his journey to Costa Rica. There is a comfortable homey feel that would be great for families or just someone passing through. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool and hot tub was really nice! Breakfast was included in our stay, which was delicious, and the price was very affordable! Our arrival at night was a little sketchy. It’s not a great part of town with barb wire and a locked gate. Upon entering the lobby it’s dark, dingy and dated. The room was the same with yellowed comforters, pillow cases and sheets. The bathroom had some kind of mystery black spots on the sink and floor. Not sure if it was mold or dust or what. Breakfast is pretty limited but if you aren’t a picky eater, it’s probably fine. On the positive side, the pool area is pretty cute. Also it’s a great location to walk to many sites. The staff seems nice enough. The mattress was comfortable too.

Good price and even better than expected! Great service with friendly staff. The owner is phenomenally friendly as he talked to us and gave us a great driving route to our next destination. The breakfast here is so good. Very filling and tasty. I was expecting a normal self serve hotel breakfast but they serve it and the portions and quality are supreme. It is also just a short walk away from the central market/downtown area. It’s really close to a local grocery store. Jacuzzi and the 2nd floor reading area are nice and peaceful. We’re excited to be staying here again at the end of our trip!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
