Stayed at Santos for 4 nights. These are my thoughts. Pros: Toilet bowl is Japanese style, it is warm whenever you sit on it , very comfortable. Shower head delivers a very strong flow of consistent water at the temperature you desire so it is nice. Room is spacious, which is what older hotels tend to have, you can have multiple luggages in the room with no worry of space. Nice clean bed and pillow sheets provided. Not to forget very good service by its staff who give prompt service whenever you need them. Cons: Despite turning off the air-con, the room was still ridiculously cold. Due to it's age, the hotel has a significant mouldy smell. We did request to change our room because the first room given had such a moldy smell that we can't stand. They kindly changed for us and we are so thankful. I also didn't like the quality of the tissue given - they tear easily whenever I try to dry my wet hands. Furniture and wallpaper have seen its history and so you can expect them to look run down and yellowish. Suggestion to management: Time to upgrade your hotel if you want to see returning customers.

If you aren't too fussy with older hotels, this is a good place to stay. The rooms are much bigger than normal taipei hotels. Location is a short walk from the red line mtr. The only thing is that its a bit of a walk to get to any decent food there. Its not the most busy area (which is what I prefer). Old but well kept.

Santos Hotel, a true gem in hospitality. The hotel staff offers warm and attentive service, patiently introducing guests to the array of amenities. Their assistance with invoice matters is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are well-appointed and impeccably clean, with daily housekeeping leaving nothing to be desired.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which has been around since 1979. Pleasantly surprised to find that it has undergone recent renovations. However, there were some issues that affected my overall experience. Upon exiting the elevator, it's marred by musty odors in the corridors and rooms, likely from the bathroom's waterproof curtain, even though the room itself was clean. Another downside was the noticeable wear and tear throughout the hotel, including chipped paint and scratches on doors, door frames, and hallway walls. On the plus side, the hotel offers fair pricing. It's conveniently located, with easy access to Taoyuan Airport, MRT and bus stations, shops, parks, night markets, and eateries. One area that could use improvement is the front desk receptionist's attitude, which left something to be desired. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff was notably helpful and attentive.

This is a clean and good value but dated hotel. If you get the cheapest room, this is NOT a four star hotel. It's more of a mid to high 3 star. The breakfast is actually pretty good, and the service is professional. The people in the front desk speak English!! The only real complaint is that the laundry has only one dryer for 3 washers, so you might have to do laundry outside since they're likely being used by other people. Pros: Good value Convenient location super close to an MRT station Generally clean rooms Really good service Cons: Laundry issue stated above Google maps might bring your expectations a bit too high if you look at the 4 star rating

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
