La Casa nei Sassi is a welcoming place and really has the feel of "home". The room offers a kitchenette, a generously sized fridge, a double bed + an additional mezzanine, the bathroom has everything you need. As in many structures in the Sassi, breakfast is served in a bar a few steps from the B&B. The view enjoyed from the terrace is enchanting, like all the Sassi. Simona is very kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. You can ask her about visiting the city, its history and much more. Experiencing the history of the town during long walks, visits to the museums, the most important sites, talking with the inhabitants, you realize that sleeping in the room of the Casa nei Sassi is a bit like living their experience. It deserves 5 stars for me, although it would have been lovely to be able to have breakfast directly in the B&B.

I wanted to wake up in the middle of the Sassi of Matera, it was a dream I had, I found a little gem of a room, nice and clean, overlooking the stones, the best! Mrs. Simona, who welcomed us very kindly, immediately showed us how to move among the rocks and what to visit. His b&b, in the Barisano stone and at the foot of Piazza del Duomo. So quite central and well positioned to get around both on foot and by public transport. An itinerary absolutely not to be missed, I will definitely return as it is a unique city, a UNESCO heritage site.......

I stayed in this property for one night with my family, we felt like at home. The owner Simona, a wonderful girl, did everything to make our stay in Matera perfect. Breakfast in the morning was really super and the location was excellent for visiting the entire historic center being in the Barisano stone. Breathtaking view of the stones from the small balcony of one of the two rooms.

The b&b is located in the Sassi Baresani area, an excellent location for visiting the various characteristic places of Matera. Simona, the owner, is truly a very good person, she acted as a tour guide for us, showing us all the places of interest and how to reach them, but also as a gastronomic guide in showing us little places and restaurants serving Matera cuisine.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
