My daughter and I just finished a visit in one of SVH's Madison Valley locations and it could not have been better! The townhome we stayed in (called "The Gallery," I think), is perfect for families. The living area is large and brightly lit, and the sleeping areas are each separated by a floor such that those awake don't have to worry about disturbing those asleep. The bed we slept in was unusually comfortable for a rental and the furnishings were attractive and welcoming, while leaving plenty of space for us to spread out our stuff and feel at home. Best of all, Lynne and Andy were incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. We felt welcomed and extremely cared for and cannot wait to stay with SVH again!

Andy and Lynn not only provided amazing hospitality during my stay, but gave me lots of tips and recommendations in advance of my trip. The home was clean and in great condition, location worked well and no detail was overlooked. I especially enjoyed being able to walk to Cafe Flora and the Arboretum from "The Gallery"!

Great host, nice property, really worked well for us in terms of location and keeping stress levels down. Very upfront with all rules and policies, quick to respond to any communication. We would gladly stay at one of their properties again!

We stayed in the Queen Anne 6 house, the location and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for all our family members. A couple of things...the basement bathroom was not cleaned (toilet) after a female had used it last, grouse and unsanitary. Come to find out they provide NO clean supplies to clean up the mess. They only provide dish soap and broom/vacuum. I texted Lynn to ask where I could find some disinfectant cleaner for kitchen counters and the downstairs bathroom and I was told those items are not provided. The strange part is on the Departure Checklist, they ask you to clean up major messes, spills and accidents, yet their are NO basic disinfecting supplies to clean them up. For such a large house that sleeps 18, their were NO large serving or cooking dishes in the kitchen. However, it was nice to have dish soap, paper towels and coffee filters, but NO basic cling wrap, which would be a nice touch. Also, the refrigerators didn't not keep our items cold, not sure if they are on the verge of going out. Lastly, was sent a text message that we weren't allowed to be outside on the deck past 9pm on a beautiful summer evening, we had 4 ladies outside. I think the noise hours need to be adjusted for the warmer temperatures since their was no AC in the house.

Had an unfortunate experience with Seattle Vacation Home, which I rented through Airbnb. Paid $2200 for a 3-night rental for 10 people. We arrived on 12/1/2022 to a home with non-functional heat in most of the house, during freezing temperatures. It took them 24 hours to address the issue, which involved extremely noisy hammering and drilling in the living area of our home for several hours during the afternoon of 12/2. When I asked my host Lynne for a partial refund for the first night's stay, I was told they would "look into it", but in reality it seems they purposefully avoided responding immediately to avoid having to provide a partial refund per Airbnb's policy. In order to be guaranteed any kind of refund, I needed to file a claim within 72 hours of my reservation if my host was not willing to work with me directly. Sadly, I did not realize until it was too late. I gave Lynne over a week to respond, which she did only after multiple follow ups via email, at which point she was offered a laughable amount of $100, but since I gave my host the benefit of the doubt that they would do the right thing and waited longer than 72 hours, I unknowingly screwed myself - the host ended up ghosting me, and Airbnb support couldn't do anything since I had given the host too much time to offer a refund. After writing this review and doing more research, it seems I'm far from the first to have a negative experience and leave a 1-star review with Lynne and Seattle Vacation Home. I'll avoid renting with this company in the future, really sad way to treat a customer.
