This is my second time back at Seconds Hostel, it feels like home here I’ll come back whenever I am in Colombo! The staff and owner are super friendly and service-minded as always. There is a chef this time and the shrimp mango pancake was delicious.

The riceptionist welcome very friendly and the budget is very good price with breakfast & I like the vibe at night in this hotel with their little music and romantic. Imperfections in here are the they have only one breakfast ( waffles with banana & coffee ) for all guests. They dont have more options and for other options have to pay.. Overall its a good place.. I stayed there not for vacation just for my own works..

Potential to be better than it is. Dirty and messy place. Looks better on pictures than in reality. Biggest problem though was the manager that greeted us at night. On Hostelworld there is a wrong description of the rooms and he tried to blame us to not have booked the right rooms whereas it was obvious that they couldn’t deliver what we booked. On top his aggression towards us complaining that we don’t get what we ordered was unacceptable.

A Gem of a Hostel with Endless Fun and Great Amenities! I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic hostel in Colombo, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations! This hidden gem offered an unforgettable experience with a blend of fun, relaxation, and excellent amenities. First and foremost, the hostel's small but inviting pool was the perfect spot to cool off and unwind after a day of exploring the city. Even though it was on the smaller side, it still provided a refreshing escape and offered a chance to mingle with other guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the wonderful array of games available, ensuring that there was never a dull moment. Spending evenings with the friendly hosts and other guests in entertaining game sessions created an atmosphere of camaraderie and joy. Moreover, the hostel's diverse selection of fun and interesting activities kept everyone engaged throughout the day. Whether it was city tours, cultural workshops, or outdoor excursions, there was something for everyone to enjoy. This made the overall experience even more enriching and unforgettable. The staff at the hostel were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any queries or recommendations. Their warm and friendly demeanor added a personal touch, making the stay feel more like visiting friends rather than staying at a typical hostel. In conclusion, if you're looking for a hostel in Colombo that offers a perfect blend of relaxation, entertainment, and fantastic amenities, look no further! This hostel's small pool, delightful cafe, engaging games, and diverse activities make it a top-notch choice for any traveler. I can't wait to return and experience this little slice of paradise once again!

I visited there one month ago, and they didn't have any locks available for the lockers. Furthermore, the lockers themselves were not compatible with any other locks. They charged me extra, and when I informed them that I didn't want to stay due to the absence of lockers, they refused to provide a refund. The staff member at the hostel was extremely rude, making it one of my worst experiences ever. You can check my profile to see that I rarely leave negative reviews for places. I just want to caution you about the lack of quality at this establishment.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

Please be informed that your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
