The staff member who checked us in was wonderful, as were your staff in general. However, the room was beyond horrible. At first, it seemed fine. Nice location, nice amenities, but then things began to add up. Sheets were dirty and pillow case with black dirt marks. I have photos. The room had a faint odor, which was more apparent upon returning to the room later in the evening. The wall and ceiling had been patched and it appeared water damage was leaking through. Then the capper was that when we had to wake up at 3 AM to get a 3:45 AM flight, the shower flooded and I mean absolutely flooded the bathroom. We couldn't even have it on long enough for hot water and had to call for about 10 towels to be brought up to stop the water from going into the room and likely downstairs. There was no time to "get another room or shower" as we had a time crunch. Then the manager offered a 50% reduction after a few days. For a $300, we expected more. It should have been a full 100% refund with a credit for another night stay at an SH hotel. While the hotel is gorgeous and well located, this just isn't acceptable.

You can’t get a better hotel location wise, because it’s in the very middle of the city centre. However walls are a bit thin, you can hear people talk and especially upstair neighbours when they walk around their room. Rooms are clean, staff are very friendly a very nice experience overall.

Could not be any better of a location. All of the staff were very friendly. Comfortable bed, good sized rooms, quiet. The only thing negative was the bathroom as it had a foul odour and when showering, due to the design, the bathroom would easily flood.

I recently stayed at the SH Ingles Hotel in Valencia and overall had a pleasant experience deserving of 4 stars. Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with an unpleasant odor in our initial room. However, the staff's exceptional responsiveness and willingness to promptly relocate us to a more comfortable room demonstrated their dedication to guest satisfaction. The hotel's friendly staff extended their assistance beyond the room change, providing us with a city map and valuable advice on navigating Valencia's attractions. Moreover, the SH Ingles Hotel boasts an awesome location, conveniently situated near key points of interest in Valencia. While the initial setback was unfortunate, the SH Ingles Hotel's proactive customer service, genuine care for their guests, and prime location turned it into a positive stay. With their helpful staff and commitment to resolving any issues, I can confidently recommend the Shingles Hotel for a memorable stay in Valencia.
