The house was stunning, immaculate, organized, and centrally located. I was blown away by its design, atmosphere, and carpentry. Great service and great stay.

Modern version of a traditional machiya. There is a western room with two beds and the rest in Japanese style. The main focus is the kitchen, which in my opinion should not be (no one goes to Kyoto to cook) but it is beautiful. The worst thing is the location. It is far from everything, 15' from the subway and 30' from Gion, although 100 meters away you have a bus stop that takes you to the places of interest in 30"/45'. There is a bus very close

All kitchen equipment is available, but it may not be sufficient for staying overnight and cooking here (no seasonings, plastic wrap, or aluminum foil, and the toaster is also a type that moves up and down). need. I went on a short trip for 3 days and 2 nights. My companion said that it would be best to stay in a place where he wouldn't meet other people as much as possible, so being able to rent a whole house here was perfect. I was actually hoping to stay at another inn in the same group, but I was told that the facilities were defective, so I ended up staying at Shakudo-an. First of all, the good parts. ・Lots of outlets ・Toilet on the 1st floor is cold (machiya feeling ⭕️) ・Easy to use washing machine ・The receptionist and the person in charge of reservations are very nice. ・The small room at the back of the Japanese-style room on the second floor was nice and I did some zazen meditation. ・Kitchen floor heating is so warm that laundry can dry overnight. That was a shame. ・No towel hanger ・Dust was collecting in the hair dryer🥀 ・Bath towel is a little stiff Maybe you should be careful. ・We recommend bringing your own as there is no plastic wrap or aluminum foil. ・There is no supermarket nearby, so I think it will take more than 15 minutes to walk! ・You need to bring your own nightwear (I wish you could rent it as it is a paid option) ・There is no cleaning tool like quickle wiper I also wanted to do some light cleaning after staying for several nights. ・The sink may be too small for people who want to put on makeup. I feel like it was too big for two people, but I'm glad we had a relaxing time. It's close to the bus stop, and Sanjusangendo and the museum are within walking distance. I think it would be great to have a relaxing stay.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
