        I booked through a 3rd party. I was not told that parking would be $38 per night. They insisted it was on the website but they ended up waiving it. They were very kind. Though, when I booked through the 3rd party I indicated that I had dogs. Just the same I indicated that I had children. They said they were unaware that i had dogs and it’s an extra one time $100. At first I was shocked. We do a lot of traveling and normally it’s $25/night IF they charge. If you’re staying for 4+ nights, the fee is average normal rate. They allow up to two dogs, up to 25lbs. My one dog is a well mannered boxer and they allowed him to stay. But technically in their paperwork it’s up to 25lbs.

        This hotel was charm and the staff were great. The only reason that I give it 4 stars is because the location makes it very difficult to walk to anything nearby. You can step outside the front and immediately see tons of shopping and restaurants come up but there's a highway in between and it's awkward to get to anything across. The hotel restaurant was nothing to write home about as far as the food went, but it was the service that was very disappointing.

        The rooms in this hotel is decent but there was crumbs under neath the bed sheets which was very itchy and can feel the lumps. Service at the restaurant is horrible, being a titanium elite member you would think you would get treated better even in regular cloths, but the people dressed nicely gets all the nice treatment. Which is kind of unfair. Very poor customer service, didnt get coffe until I was done eating breakfast.

        I have been using this hotel for every San Diego trip I have. They have a lounge that if accessible to you makes snacks and water/soda free to obtain. They provide free cocktails, snacks, and cookies for arriving folks between 4-5pm. Midge, Douglas, and Veltson have made my stay truly enjoyable. When you pick this hotel, look for this team because they will take care of you and ensure your stay is most enjoyable. Looking forward to my next trip!
