Unbeatable location. Worn out rooms. We stayed here in Oct 2023 and got the single room for 2 people, which was super affordable. - Room is tiny, but does have desk+table and enough floor space to open your suitcase. - Bathroom was IN the room. Meaning you had to do your business behind a glass wall and a "modesty curtain". Tough for new couples. - Room had peeling wallpaper and streaks on the wall from suitcase / other impact. Not the most aesthetic place, but hey. - Beds were spacious and comfy enough, but after 4 nights - my back was sore. It did however, help to ask for extra pillows in the reception. - Shower was nice and HOT. With enough water pressure. And as a bonus, bathroom came fully stocked with razor, brush, sponge and gave oil in addition to the usual shampoo and conditioner combo. Overall - worth the money. But don't expect to go there for aesthetics!

The location couldn't be any better - it's across the street from the Shibuya station, so getting anywhere in town was just a quick walk over the escalator. I regularly walked the neighborhood in the early mornings due to jetlag and was completely safe the entire time. Nearby 7-11s were my best friend, though I did enjoy the free espresso in the lobby before heading out. The rooms are small compared to those in the USA but normal for the area. Booking required that we have 2 rooms for our family of 4 (normally in the USA we would get 1 room and kids would sleep on the ground, but there was not a lot of ground). The rooms were clean, cleaned regularly, and met our needs. There were 2 elevators that were fast. There was no breakfast - Americans in the hotel picked up food at 7-11.

Very basic hotel functionality but in a great location. Only minutes from the station, scramble, etc and you're surrounded by great food and shopping options. Have little to compare the room (economy double) to against other Tokyo hotels, but provided everything I required - basic double bed, great air-conditioned (separate humidifier/dehumidifier unit also in the room but I did not utilize), dark blinds and a good shower/toilet facility (of note to the mobility challenged and drunk: there's a ~6" ledge into washroom). Free WiFi was fine for streaming video and general browsing - fridge was large enough for a few beers and water - kettle boiled water 🤷🏼‍♂️. Staff were excellent through check-in/out and happy to hold a bag for a few hours. Did not visit the restaurant. Option for a paper-bag breakfast: sandwich & juice for ¥8,000 at time of this review. A lot of construction in the area at this time, but did not really notice any significant noise. Overall a good experience totally aligned withy expectations.

Totally misleading though the hotel is indeed in a good location near to Shinjuku and train station. This probably the only good thing about this hotel but do note that it’s in the red light district area, it’s alright for 2 girls travelers but perhaps have to think a bit for family with kids. Staffs are impressively unhelpful, they told us to be back at 5pm so they can help us call for restaurant reservations (restaurant open at 5pm), not to mention standing and chit chat at the counter rather than helping the guests. To top it up, the room is totally dated and welcome you with a wet dog smell, when we reported it, their noses seem to malfunction so suddenly. You cannot open the window too, they won’t allow it. For sustainability, this hotel is totally nothing close to it, they use package soaps, shampoo, etc. The more I write, the more I wonder how they got rated 4 stars. The turn down note also got our name wrong. For a moment, I thought I walked in to someone else’s room, especially if you had just checked in. I hope this helps you make decision whether to have this hotel in your trip.

The room I stayed in was small, but it was cozy, it had a small television, desk, mini fridge, hot water kettle with coffee/tea and bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body sponge, toothpaste/tooth brush, hair brush, shaving cream), pajamas and slippers. The one surprise I did have was that this hotel has American standard wall plugs, so that was one great benefit, I was able to charge my devices all at once as opposed to one at a time using a wall plug converter.
