Check-in is close to Kyoto station, and they offer to drop bags in the property. The property is very close to a train station that is 2 stops from Kyoto station. Place is super clean and my kids loved having the japanese feel. Comfy beds, a/c, close to public transportation and you actually feel you're partaking in the culture. 3 convenience stores a couple blocks away and plenty of restaurants. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely renovated machiya which had enough space for our family of five. The neighbourhood is fairly nice with quite a few restaurants and the main shopping district about a 20 min walk away. It would have been nice to be a little closer to the subway station - there are plenty of buses though. The main criticism is that the house was very cold in winter. There are a few heaters and air-conditioning units but they struggled to remove the chill. If you have young children or any mobility problems you should be aware there is a steep staircase and the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs.

This place is quite nice. It keeps the traditional feeling of the building and adds modern facilities into it. You can enjoy the cultural experience here while having handy living facilities. I highly recommend cooking once here. The place is about 5 min walks to bus station, which is quite convenient. It is located in quiet neighborhood.

A spacious townhouse located within walking distance from Shijo Station. The location is convenient for going anywhere, and there are many restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores nearby. The room is about 80 square meters, so there was no problem even with large luggage or children. The view of the courtyard from the Japanese-style room and bath was wonderful, and I was able to fully enjoy my stay in Kyoto. The staff at Machiya Residence also responded well, so I felt at ease. I would like to stay here again the next time I stay in Kyoto.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
