I can't say more great things about Short Stories Hotel. From the check-in all the way through to departure, our stay was seamless and memorable! A big plus for us was the complimentary coffee in the morning which we enjoyed in the beautiful, open-roof courtyard, and the comfortable, chic rooms - good interiors go a long way! I'd consider this spot a hidden gem in a great locale, and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, quiet and luxe stay in LA! We'll definitely be back.

Our stay was so comfortable and this is the most fashionable and classy hotel I have stayed at. We were in town to check on one of our businesses and we are so happy with our stay. I have worked in several hotels when I was younger and I know great service when I see it. At one point the room next to us was yelling at one in the morning and half awake, I called the front desk for help and our neighbors stopped yelling almost immediately. I really appreciate them fixing that issue for us. Thanks!

How many letters in “devoured”? ATE! This place ate it up. The bar menu is delightful, with a cucumber avocado salad we are still talking about and frites that are crispy and flavorful. Emma, our server, got our vibe, and recommended faux-jitos for the kids, and Jeremy, our bartender made the drinks so well I couldn’t tell they were NA. Hotel has a pool. Amazing water pressure in the shower. If we stayed longer, I would have turned the CA water shortage into a drought, because the water pressure is great. Close to the Grove shopping mall, we found so many fun things within walking distance. The only bad thing is that they were painting the walls, and I got white paint on my green tote bag. Delightful stay.

Super cute hotel in a great location. Short Stories was a motel back in the day and has been converted and modernised beautifully. It’s simply charming and a great option for anyone looking for a quiet, cute hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. The bed is luxe and there is a nice seating area with table for chilling. All rooms on upper two levels are accessible via lift. The courtyard garden is lovely for drinks, chilling and also grabbing a meal. The person at valet was super nice! I didn’t grab his name but he was lovely. All the staff were great.

Amazing hotel and even better staff! The rooms a chic and comfortable. The location is convenient to the area. But the biggest value is its people. SUPER helpful, friendly, service-oriented staff. When my 3rd party booking site made a mistake, they bent over backward to make every accommodation to make my family and me comfortable in a room that worked for us. I am a frequent traveler. I've never been this blown away by an experience - and turning a potentially bad experience into a win. I will DEFINITELY be back when I visit next.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
