There’s nothing wrong with this place but it just didn’t offer much in terms of vibe or value for money. In the end the location was kind of inconvenient. Because the usual thing to do is to climb Piturangala at dawn you can’t really safely walk there because the roads aren’t lit and apparently there’s wild elephants around. We spent a fortune on the inflated tuk tuk prices to and from restaurants and the sites. In hindsight we would have been better off staying in the main strip area near the cafes and restaurants. Weirdly, there wasn’t any sheets on the bed, just a weird, undersized bit of fabric. Is that just a normal thing in Sri Lanka? Maybe? Finally, when we paid, the exchange rate they used was wildly over what it should have been. We ended up paying about AUD$15 (should have been $50ish we paid $65) more than the current conversion should have added up to. The people were nice and the place was clean and calm. Just didn’t feel like great value.

The place is located near to each main locations such as sigiriya (walking distance) and pidurangala. However, the main important thing that any guest expect (regardless foreign or local) is the service which we did not find attractive at all. Definitely need to improve the food which you offer to customers as a normal ala card will not fullfill. Promotion of local food should be there which foreigners would love to try and most important thing is friendlyness which we did not find at all..

Located in a very convenient location which is around 300m to the Sigiriya entrance. Booked an A/C double room. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom had hot water and was very clean too. Ordered a dinner which was very reasonable for the price and includes fried rice, deserts. Overall the place is bang for buck and could recommend.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
