came to see the gentleman magician perform at the stamford and have an overnight stay with my family- best experience ever! the show was fantastic and i highly recommend seeing him if you can. the room had a lovely old time charm to it, so did the rest of the hotel. the room was clean and tidy, the staff were fantastic and extremely welcoming and were very helpful when we had a large group checking in at different times. the location was so nice too! made it easy to pop out for a stroll along the harbour. 5/5 highly recommend!

Lovely old world hotel although our room was quite dusty. I wouldn't recommend if you have dust allergies. The Christmas decor not up to hotels presentation. If not there at Christmas no biggie. Breakfast was included for us very nice spread. Although only the baked beans seemed to be hot on all 3 mornings. The coffee in the machine was better than I expected really good. The staff ok. Bit mean with the coffee in the room I think they are trying to save money in many areas. All in all a lovely room and out look. I was looking forward to a sauna when we arrived and it was out of order. If we go to Sydney again I would stay at the Sir Stamford.

Could not fault the customer service. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Walk down the street and you are at the Sydney Opera House. Right across the road is the Sydney Botanical Gardens, and a stone’s throw to Circular Quay. Location is ideal for a city getaway. Luxury and marble is the way to describe the room, although the hotel seems to be a bit tired and in need of some refurbishment. We paid $60 for 24 hours of parking underneath the hotel, and it was worth it to leave our car in a secure spot, and not have to worry about getting around as we were in walking distance of all major attractions of Sydney. Would recommend if you are going to the Opera House. 5-star location.

I recently stayed at Stamford for an experience and I have had a mixed experience. While the massage service was Good, the disappointment came when trying to redeem the high tea voucher. Despite waiting for the hotel staff to assist, no one returned to facilitate it specially the manager who was helpless… Unfortunately, my sister was unable to use her voucher as well, and there was a lack of proactive support from the hotel. It felt like the value of the vouchers was not a priority for them. Communication regarding this issue was also unsatisfactory. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience for others."

Location is quite good since stations, restaurants are near. But hotel itself is quite bad in terms of cost performance. If price is low, i can understamd. But price is high. Staff is normal. But low hospitality. Pool is small and old. Overall is dusty. I was not able to stop coughing. Room is dusty, table is dirty, floor is dirty , bath tab is not clean . No bottle of water in refrigerator . No tooth blush. I never use this hotel. House keeping only clean superficially. Wifi can only use 3 devices!!!! I strongly recommend other hotel.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
