        We were eaten alive with bed bugs no mattress protectors or pillow protectors. We were staying for 4 nights I ended up sleeping on the removable couch cushions as they were fine. The pull out sofa bed also seemed fine in terms of bed bugs. It was a shame really as everything else was satisfactory. Very spacious and a great location. The mattresses need replacing or deep cleaning and protectors need to be used.

        Was a little nervous booking this, but the apartment was great. Large rooms, huge windows, central location. Everything was spotless, linens were fresh and clean. Plenty of space for 5 people. Walking distance to everything. A little loud at night, but thats not the properties fault. Only real gripe is that the water heater for the shower only lasts 5 minutes.

        On 5 April 2022, I made a reservation for accommodation in SmartFlats in Ghent via Booking.com. I selected the possibility to cancel the reservation with a full refund until 3 days before the date of accommodation. On the same day, the accommodation provider requested me to provide my credit card details and a reservation fee of 253.25 EUR was deducted from my bank account. On the next day, 6 April 2022, I decided to cancel the reservation. I received an email confirmation that the reservation was cancelled and the deducted reservation fee would be returned within 30 days. Today is 24 May 2022 and I have still not received the reservation fee back.

        Giving one star for the apartment that is quite nice, with good appliances and a prime location. Not giving the four other stars because our experience was completely tarnished by the appalling customer service: 1. Close to the checkin time, we had 0 information about checkin despite the fact that we knew we needed a code to get in. We tried calling for over an hour to only hear a ringtone constantly. We also reached out on WhatsApp but no answer. We eventually had to call Booking.com's customer service that helped us with this issue. 2. When asking if we could check out only an hour later, we had to call twice and on one was able tell us if it was a possibility, "boomeranging" us to another service constantly. I was finally told to send an email and we simply never got a reply. Very disappointing. I do not recommend, especially if you have smaller kids. This lack of answer and care is disrespectful.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
          Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.
