The walls are paper thin, we've heard everything from the corridors and the rooms next to us so we were woken up 7-10 times per night. The thermostat didn't work, so it was really cold in the room at night. We smelled the burned food from next room at night through the fans. The bathroom was extremely small, we could not even use the toilet properly. We've been told that they clean the rooms every day, but through the four nights stay we've never received any cleaning. This is a 3 stars hotel, so it was relatively expensive, but this experience could be at any cheap hotel too. Positive things are the location and the kitchen. Wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic location, including breakfast at rooftop restaurant across the street. Even though located at Gran Via no noise issues. Madrid is lovely :)

Overall quite enjoyable stay. The room was clean and the bed is comfy (except short for me, but that's not new). Not many electric plugs, bring an extension cord. The walls are thin, so it's not a good place for light sleepers. The air conditioning works, but doesn't move the air well. We paid 30 euros to bring our dog and they provided a nice bed for her and bowls for food and water.

Service is really poor, we were checked in later than 15.00 even though we left our luggage at about noon, so they had more than enough time to do all the cleaning and such before we get back. Room was totally different to the pictures on booking, and when we requested to change the room for the one what was booked staff member said it's not available and only one option they have is upgrade the room with more than €200 difference what we need to pay. Eventually they did the upgrade free of charge but that room also wasn't even close to the pictures on booking and didn't match the expectations at all. Furniture in the upgraded room was broken and AC didn't work for cooling only heating. I wouldn't recommend to stay in this property at all. Only one nice thing is location.
